The tuning firm Vilner has modified several American and European cars, but have now turned to the Japanese model Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. With this unique project, the Bulgarian tuners partnered up with the guys from Overdrive, who took on the performance package. The exterior and interior custom parts were handled by Vilner, who upgraded the standard Lancer’s headlights and taillights with new LED units. Inside, the tuning studio gave the Lancer EVO X a black leather upholstery makeover with white stitching and accents throughout. Alcantara lines the roof, while carbon fiber trim is found on the shifter and steering wheel. A set of OMP front bucket seats and piano black trim round out the mods inside. AMS Mitsubishi Evo X 900X
Now this is a tuned Evo X! Built by the tuners at AMS, the Mitsubishi Evo X 900X is powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a variety of high performance modifications. The turbo kit on this Evo X consists of GT900X V-band and features a Tial 44mm wastegate, Racing Series exhaust system, and Tial Alpha QR blow off valve. Internals were replaced with Spec JE pistons, Kelford cams, Manley I-Beam rods, upgraded valve springs, and new head studs. A new intercooler system was installed along with a 800 hp fuel system. Aerodynamics were improved with some carbon fiber aftermarket parts, and the AMS Evo X 900X also has an upgraded braking system and suspension. Check out the video after the jump.
Proton WIRA 2006 Tuning
Even though this car is a bit old, this Proton has a lot of secrets that will impress everyone. It has a front bumper taken from a Mitsubishi Evo III, side skirts from Evo II and a rear wing from the ’95 Lancer. The exterior won’t be as impressive as a new supercar but this car’s interior is awesome. With new gauges, new steering wheel and sport pedals everyone will feel like a race driver in this car. But the best part just starts: In car Entertainment made from a lot of components like: Alpine DVA-9860E DVD head unit, a universal remote controller Alpine RUE-4191 DVD and an 8″ LCD. Everywhere in the car you can see Boston Acoustics S60 speakers and the owner also installed 2 amps: one from Oxygen Audio with 800W and one from Phoenix Gold with 200W.
Mitsubishi RA
At Detroit Auto Show there were a lot of new car concepts revealed, some of them simply beautiful and others not so impressive but one car surely impressed everyone: Mitsubishi RA. This new Mitsubishi concept is a coupe diesel car with an ultraseductive design. That red color makes it look like it’s alive, the rims with a design like a spider web add more details to this car and everything seems to fit right. The car is equipped with one of the best diesel engines, 2.2L 16 V with four cylinders that could develop 240 HP and a maximum torque of 420 Nm.
