Kerridges MG TF 85th Anniversary

Updated on

This car was brought to us by one of our readers who recently had custom work done to his MG TF 85th Anniversary edition, by the tuning company Kerridges who are based in Suffolk. There are only three MG TF 85th Anniversary pearlecent with burgundy stripes, and this lucky owner decided to have the tuners at Kerridges fabricate a custom hardtop roof for his rare car. He had to hand over 1,700 euros for the unique roof which received the same burgundy stripe pattern to match, and the MG TF also received a few extra modifications.

A new suspension system was needed, so apart from the stunning look, Kerridges installed a Bilstein suspension kit, Eibach anti-roll system, and the car was lowered 35 mm all around. An all new anti-torsion pack was included, while the MG TF 85th Anniversary model received a new wheel package from Rimstock “Twisted Pepper” style rims. Performance numbers show 133 bhp with 122 lb ft of torque that is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 127 mph. The unique MG TF only weighs 1,180 kg, so slowing it down is pretty easy with the MG 4-pot brake calipers.

If you are a reader of Fancy Tuning, and would like a chance to have your custom car published to thousands of tuning enthusiasts, then don’t hesitate to send us a list of the work you’ve had done, along with a few pictures.
