With all the latest and hottest cars being released at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini has announced their 2010 Reventon Roadster based off the Murcielago. This limited edition Lambo features some striking characteristics that the Murcielago never received, and still holds the same performance numbers. We can tell from the pictures that it is a follow up to the older Lamborghini Reventon, and has lost the top with more sinister styling all around. Being based off the Murcielago, Lamborghini has added more carbon fiber, a jet-figther similar cockpit, and they have reported less than 20 of these models will be built.
Each Lamborghini Reventon Roadster produced will likely carry a price tag in excess of $1 million, and for that kind of money you better expect great performance. Power comes from the 6.5-liter V12 which is the same engine in the hardtop, with a six-speed automatic manual transmission. This produces 641 hp which is good for a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds from the all-wheel-drive. Its top speed may be a little less than the 224 mph that was claimed by the hardtop coupe Lamborghini Reventon, but expect the interior to be decked out. Tons of Alcantara leather and carbon fiber has been used throughout the cockpit, along with a unique aviation LCD instrument panel. It comes with a hefty price, but you get what you pay for, and that is one of the baddest Lamborghini’s ever produced.
