The tuners at Kicherer have announced a Supercharged GT package for the Mercedes SLS AMG. With the performance modifications to the 6.3-liter V8 engine, a new power output of about 700 BHP to go along with 840 Nm of torque was achieved. This comes from the new supercharger and allows the sports car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 300 km/h or 186 mph.
Without a doubt, sex sells and is one of the reasons many enthusiasts out there spend so much time and money tuning their cars. The guys from Inden Design have used this method to promote a new package for the sleek Mercedes SLS AMG with German model Katja Runiello. For the true car fans, the tuning kit is modest in the performance department with a minor boost for the 6.3-liter V8 powerplant. After the ECU optimization, the Mercedes sports car now puts down 614 horses, a decent jump from the factory 563 horsepower.
Another Mercedes SLS AMG has popped up in our inbox, this time tuned by the guy at Inden Design. However, the modifications are modest, with only some new wheels and a couple tweaks under the hood. After the addition of a new manifold, catalytic converters, and a custom exhaust system, the Mercedes SLS AMG now puts down 623 horsepower. A 53 HP increase over the factory number.
Prior Design has sent out this teaser pictures of their latest line of aftermarket parts to be released for the Mercedes SLS AMG. The luxury Mercedes sports car has seen a variety of tuners try to make the ultimate SLS AMG package, but they keep getting better every year. On this particular project, we see body modifications everywhere, the hood received new air outlets, a revised front bumper, and new splitter on the front as well. New side skirts give it a more aggressive look, while the new alloy wheels bring the complete tuning project together. Now lets wait and see if Prior Design can bring this stunning Mercedes SLS AMG to life.
Check out what was brought to our attention by a fellow reader, a Mansory Mercedes SLS AMG Cormeum spotted in China. Mansory only plans to make 15 of these sports cars, each tailored to the wishes of the customer. It is said to produce anywhere from 660 horsepower to 800 HP with the addition of larger turbochargers.
