Brabus Vanish – Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series

The Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series is already an impressive car, but the Brabus tuning company had to modify it even further for a customer in Dubai. Calling it the Vanish, Brabus hooked up the Mercedes SL65 with larger turbos, huge brakes, a new transmission, matte black wrap, and a strange plastic piece on the hood to push 800 horsepower. The tuned Mercedes SL65 AMG features the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 all concealed inside the complete carbon fiber body that shaved off a whopping 551 pounds. This raised the top speed to 199 mph, accomplished a 0-60 time in the three second range, but sadly only 350 will ever be made.

Carlsson C25

The German tuning firm Carlsson announced earlier this month of their latest sports car project dubbed the C25. This came prior to the Geneva Motor Show, where we all got to see the Carlsson C25 masterpiece. From the front view of the car, you can describe it as dynamic and aggressive, with trapezoid shapes for the large air inlets. Typical Carlsson styling if you ask me, but if you look at it from the side, it confirms the fact that we are looking at classic GT-proportions, with a front centered engine. The rear view is just as impressive, and even holds a highly visible aerodynamic functionality.

Brabus Mercedes E-Class Coupe

Here we have a Brabus car released at the Geneva Auto Show, based off the Mercedes E-Class Coupe, and hiding a powerful V12 motor under the hood. They’re calling it the “Brabus E V12 Coupe,” but the tuners did more than just engine modifications. At the exterior level, the Mercedes coupe features a carbon fiber body kit consisting of a new front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and air vents in the front to reduce lifting forces. Several other exterior upgrades to the E-Class coupe include LED daytime running lights, a new adjustable coilover suspension kit, and underneath the 19-inch wheels, a high performance braking system. Be ready to hand over a ton of paper for this job however, since Brabus tuning doesn’t come cheap under the hood.

AK-Car Design Mercedes SLS AMG

AK-Car Design is a less popular German tuning firm that has released this new styling kit for the Mercedes SLS AMG. The new package for the gullwing Mercedes model looks good, and we will remember these tuners if they continue to put out quality work like this. The performance was left stock for the engineers at Mercedes-Benz to worry about, but the highly anticipated car did receive a unique aero kit. Included in the package are new front and rear bumpers, a front grille, side skirts, and a redesigned diffuser with two sets of integrated exhaust tips.

A new front bumper replaces the stock bulky-looking factory piece with a three section design incorporating LED daytime running lights. On the outsides of the front fascia are what appear to be halogen fog lights, and a new front spoiler. The new wide body kit definitely gives the SUV a more aggressive look and sports car styling.

Vath Mercedes E63 AMG

This is the new Vath Performance Mercedes E63 AMG project based off the E-Class from Mercedes-Benz. Both visual and performance improvements were made on the four door sedan. It is powered by the factory engine which has been modified to produce 605 hp and 690 Nm of torque. These numbers let the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG run a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.1 seconds, with an overall top speed of 340 km/h. Helping the Mercedes reach these figures are forged pistons, sport camshafts, larger intake, new exhaust valves, and improved cylinder heads.
