Wimmer RS Mercedes C63 AMG Wagon

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Wimmer RS car tuning project, but they are back on track with this taxi looking Mercedes C63 AMG Wagon. From the factory, the car holds a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 powerplant producing 457 horsepower with 600 Nm of torque. Wimmer RS came to play with a few performance upgrades of their own, featuring new cylinders, camshafts, custom throttle, exhaust and ECU optimization to boost the output.

The German tuning company Wimmer RS had this unique Mercedes C63 AMG on display at the Essen Motor Show. Calling it the BlueGreen Eliminator, Wimmer was able to pack a punch in the sporty sedan. With their top of the line performance package, power increased from 487 PS and 600 Nm of torque to 601 PS with 720 newton meters of torque. After the initial Mercedes tuning, the car received a new set of KW coilovers for the suspension, 19-inch alloy rims, and a MOVIT ceramic brake kit.

VATH V63 Supercharged based off Mercedes C63 AMG

VATH has released their own version of the Mercedes C63 AMG called the V63 Supercharged. The Bavarian tuning company boosted the performance drastically with a new output of 680 PS and 840 Nm of torque. A huge increase from the factory Mercedes C63 figures of 487 PS and 600 newton meters of torque.  It is all achieved with the addition of a new water-cooled supercharger, revised ECU, new oil coolers, high flowing catalytic converters, headers, and a stainless steel exhaust system.

Wimmer RS recently revealed the AMG Performance Package Plus dubbed as the Dunlop Performance for the Mercedes C63 AMG. This sports car was designed to compete in the Tuner’s Grand Prix at the Hockenheim circuit, where it took the second place prize. For the track, the most important upgrades were the ECU upgrade, new exhaust manifold, K&N sport air filter, and improved air intakes under the hood. Suspension came next with a high performance KW3 Club Sports coilover system installed on the Mercedes C63 AMG.

Vath Mercedes V63RS

The german tuning company Vath, a company that knows everything about Mercedes tuning has started to modify a Mercedes C Klasse – C63 AMG. They wanted to make one of the most powerful Mercedes cars and they managed to add 130 HP and 90 Nm to the car’s 6.3L V8 engine. This was possible by reconfiguring the car’s engine cooling unit and by installing a new high performance exhaust system. The Vath V63RS develops now 585 HP and a maximum torque of 690 Nm that will boost this car to a maximum speed of 325 km/h. They also had to change the car’s suspensions to handle better at incredible speeds and they installed 19″ rims that are equipped with wide tires for more stability.
