Retrobuilt Ford Mustang 1969 Shelby GT500 Package

Fresh off the press, car modification company Retrobuilt has taken the new fifth generation Ford Mustang and made it look like the old classic 1969 Shelby GT500. The tuners who are located in Missouri have been working on this 1969 Shelby GT 500CS package for a while now and it is ready for the public. The conversion kit will include all new body panels, new headlights, taillights, chrome trim and Shelby wheels to replicate the original 69 Mustang.

2011 LA Auto Show: Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Part of our coverage of the LA Auto Show brought us a first hand look at the highly modified Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 due out in 2013. It sports a brand new grille, LED lighting, and aggressive chin splitter up front. Under the hood, the Mustang holds a 5.8-liter more efficient TVS 2300 supercharger that produces an incredible 650 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. Ford focused on making it more efficient with their all-new fuel delivery module and injector combination.

New Ford Focus, Fiesta, and Mustang tuning kits

Here we have the latest video from Ford, who have announced plans to introduce ten new tuned cars at the upcoming SEMA Show. Starting off is a new Ford Focus with Roush Stage 3 tuning. It will feature a new induction system with a supercharger and dual exhaust. On the exterior is a matte finish along with a front lip spoiler and unique graphics. If that doesn’t suite you, Ford will have plenty of high modified Focus models on display. Six others to be exact, including one of the jobs being performed by Capaldi Racing.

Design-World Ford Mustang GT

German tuning firm Design-World (Marko Mennekes) has released a brand new package for the American Ford Mustang GT. It started off as a completely black Ford Mustang GT, then the tuners decided to add metallic orange CFC films along with white and black to make it extremely unique. New body parts for the Mustang GT include front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a stylish front grille. Performance tuning came next.

Roush Ford Mustang Stage 3 Kit

The Ford tuning specialists at Roush have released a new Stage 3 kit also called the RS3 package for the 2012 Ford Mustang sports car. Two months ago the Stage 1 and 2 kits were launched, and now with the Stage 3, the Mustang reaches a whole new level. This one was specially made for the 5.0-liter V8, fitted with a R2300 ROUSHcharger, and boosting the car 12 psi. Final numbers after the performance tuning, new induction system, and custom exhaust show figures of 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The tuners didn’t stop there however, they also customized the exterior to make it more unique.

GeigerCars Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 Golden Snake

Here is the latest tuning work from the guys at GeigerCars, based on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. They are calling it the GT640 Golden Snake since the car now produces 640 PS and 789 Nm of torque from the 5.4-liter V8 engine. It comes equipped with a supercharger, reprogrammed ECU, and stainless steel exhaust system allowing the Mustang sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). However, that’s not all of the tuning it received, the car didn’t get the Golden Snake nickname for no reason.

No More Saleen For The Ford Mustang

It looks like the best Saleen cars have come to an end, since the parent company Revstone announced plans to ceise manufacturing the performance Ford Mustangs. A sad day for the tuning world, especially in the states since the Mustang is one of the most popular cars to modify these days. Hopefully, something better will come. They want to focus on other aftermarket performance parts, and will stop production of the S302 come the third quarter of 2011. As seen in previous articles here on Fancy Tuning, the S302 Ford Mustang GT features an aftermarket body kit, sport suspension, and limited slip differential for boosted performance.

Shelby and Roush Ford Mustang SR-71

Caroll Shelby and Jack Roush, some of the best known tuning experts around came together to create a masterpiece neither one could do alone in the Ford Mustang SR-71. This car will be up for sale and auctioned for charity. This insane ride came to be after inspiration by the Lockheed Martin SR-71 Blackbird with “SR” standing for nothing less than Shelby and Roush. As far as performance modifications, the Roush & Shelby Mustang SR-71 comes with a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine complemented by a 2.3L Whipple Twin Screw Supercharger and a Roush intake. These tuning experts also updated their SR-71 with a new exhaust from Ford Racing, a new handling pack, and reinforced roll cage. We are all waiting anxiously for the release of these Ford Mustang performance figures.

Steeda Ford Mustang

Not long after the release of the new anticipated 2011 5-liter V8 Ford Mustang GT, the world known Ford aftermarket performance manufacturer, Steeda, announced its plan for the Mustang GT. After intense planning and preparation, the package has finally arrived for all those tuning entrepreneurs, labeled the 2011 Steeda Sport Edition 5.0L Mustang. Priced at just under $40,000 for starters, this package drastically improves the cars power, handling, and much more. For the visual upgrades, the Steeda team added an aerodynamic hood, rear aero wing, insane sidewinder graphics, and a brand new set of 20-inch Spyder alloys wrapped in Nitto NT05 high-performance tires (275/35/20).

Ford Mustang DUB Edition

Check it out, Ford, Roush racing, and the DUB automotive lifestyle magazine have teamed up to release a new tuning kit for the Ford Mustang. Calling it the DUB Edition Mustang, Ford owners can look forward to a sleek and head-turning sports car. After the engine modifications, the Mustang boasts a powerful 305 horsepower which also offers an amazing 31 mpg on the highway. This car is topping the charts with its great power to fuel consumption ratio. DUB and Ford are planning to launch the new series this fall, and it will be available in a coupe, convertible, or a stunning glass rooftop version.

SMS Supercars 302 Ford Mustang

Steve Saleen and his company SMS Supercars have released the new 302 Ford Mustang to the Signature Series line after the success of the 570 Challenger. These custom built Mustangs will be the only authorized vehicles to bear the Saleen name, benefiting from the heritage and high performance innovations over the years. At the exterior, the impressive 302 Mustang received new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and rear diffuser with an integrated F1 rain light. Chrome alloy wheels measuring 20×9 in the front, and 20×10 in the rear were installed with high performance tires to improve handling and complete the styling.

Barrett-Jackson and Roush Ford Mustang

Roush Performance and Barrett-Jackson have teamed up to manufacture a high performance edition of the all new Ford Mustang that will be limited to 50 units. Half of them will be based on the 2010 model, and the rest will be completed with the 2011 version. This unique Mustang received several Roush racing components such as a new upper and lower billet grilles, along with 20-inch chrome wheels wrapped in high performance Cooper RS3 tires. Customers will have the choice of any exterior finish they’d like, and will be able to choose both the base code and side stripes from 25 available color combination’s.
