Michael Jordans McLaren SLR

The Mercedes McLaren SLR is a stunning car, and running across one of the special 722 Editions these days is like finding a needle in a hay stack. However, it gets better because this unique McLaren has been celebrity owned by the one and only basketball legend Michael Jordan. It is now being auctioned on eBay for a hefty price, but the car still has less than 1,000 miles! It received several modifications including 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels, modified suspension, stiffer damper setup, and 10 mm lower ride height.

RENNtech Mercedes C63 AMG Kit

The tuners at RENNtech definitely know how to work on Mercedes, this time releasing a C63 AMG wide body kit with the works. It is said to improve the aerodynamics of the car, however most customers will probably purchase it for the looks alone. Their calling it the C74 kit for the Mercedes, and comes to us right after the RENNtech tuning team launched the world’s fastest Mercedes C63, which accomplished a 11.6 second quarter mile time. Focusing on the exterior styling this time around, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG received looks inspired by Stuttgart’s DTM racing cars.

The Swiss tuners at FAB Design have pulled back the sheets to reveal the modified Mercedes SLS AMG.  Although the tuning company was scarce on the details, we do know that they were able to gain an extra 40 horsepower from the Gullwing door supercar. This comes from the Mercedes V8 engine producing a total of 611 hp after the tuning. At the track it improved the sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, a .1 difference from the factory car time. FAB Design also designed a new body kit for the SLS AMG, consisting of a re-styled front bumper with new vents and a lip spoiler, side skirts, roof scoop, and a new rear bumper that accompanies the four exhaust tips.

Featuring several styling and performance improvements, this Black Series Mercedes received larger turbos, new air intakes, upgraded cooling system, high performance camshafts, and an ECU tuning upgrade to top it off. MKB also offers a variety of limited slip differentials for the 6.0-liter V12 Mercedes-Benz.

Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

The German tuning firm Kicherer recently unveiled the Black Edition package for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. This newly modified Benz features both performance and styling improvements with a unique matte black foil car wrap for a stealth appearance. Included in the SLS AMG kit is a new front spoiler lip, rear diffuser, and a set of 20-inch RS wheels with high performance tires. MEC Design Mercedes-Benz S550

Sitting as one of the most exclusive luxury cars in the world, the new Mercedes-Benz S550 W221 S-Class is very reasonably priced. By offering premium quality options on materials, MEC Design tuned their their W221 to the extreme. One disadvantage might be the ordinary exterior, based on the S550 from 2007 with AMG bumpers, but is also outfitted with huge wheels, sports exhaust, lowered suspension, a new steering wheel, and floor mats. MEC Design also fitted their fully tuned W221 with MECxtremell three piece rims with flatbed; satin Edition with other options available. Vorsteiner Mercedes E-Class E63 AMG V6E styling kit

Hold onto your seats, Vorsteiner has recently launched a new aero kit for the Mercedes E63 AMG called the V6E kit. Featuring many aesthetically pleasing carbon fiber parts, the styling package includes a new front lip spoiler, trunk spoiler, and rear diffuser. Also part of the kit are Vorsteiner’s forged V-308 rims wrapped in high performance tires. The tuning company claims that these are the most concave wheels on the market to fit the Mercedes sports car, but I beg to differ. There are so many competing wheel companies out there, and I have seen China imitation wheels on eBay with more concave than these. They are still great wheels from Vorsteiner though, and the stance looks impressive for the Mercedes E-Class.

VITT Mercedes SL

The Japanese tuning firm VITT has released their all new wide body kit for the Mercedes SL to make it even more aggressive. Mercedes-Benz launched a special edition Mercedes SL AMG Black Series a while back, and this new package from VITT might be the solution for those who couldn’t get the factory parts. The car looks like something you would see from a Fast and Furious movie series, being extremely close to the ground and sporting cheap decals on the side. VITT offers other body kits for the Mercedes Benz SL, while this one was premiered at the Nagoya Auto Trend.

AG Excalibur

The Lithuanian tuning specialists AG Excalibur have released the official pictures of the unique Shark, based off the BMW M6 and Mercedes-Benz CL. Showcasing extreme body work and over the top styling, both these AG Excalibur models were displayed in the test drive pits of Top Marques Monaco 2010. Imagine walking down the sidewalk and seeing massive 30-inch spinning rims on a car that was built to only hold 20’s. AG Excalibur did some amazing work with the BMW M6 and Mercedes CL, adding six parking cameras, two gear shifters, and turning it into a masterpiece, or monstrosity in my opinion.
