The tuning pros at Brabus have customized the Mercedes SLS AMG with a wide-body version called the Widestar. Modifications include a new carbon fiber body kit consisting of a front spoiler, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser, along with wider body panels and fenders featuring air intakes and side outlets. The rear was widened 20 mm from these customizations, and Brabus added some lightweight wheels next. Their Monoblock F Platinum Edition rims to be exact, measuring 20×9.5 in the front, and 21×11 at the rear. They come wrapped in either Pirelli or Yokohama high performance tires, and the wheels are available in a brushed design or ceramics polished surface, as well as any color of your choice.

Wimmer Ariel Atom
Here is a tuned version of the Ariel Atom 3 from the guys at Wimmer RS. You may already know that the company who makes the Ariel Atom is now offering a 500 hp V8 version, but to be honest, that is too much power for this lightweight car. So, Wimmer RS came to play with an upgrade package capable of squeezing an extra 40 hp out of the 4-cylinder Civic engine that produces 300 horsepower stock. Included in the kit is a new engine optimization software, compressor overhaul, fuel pump conversion, and a high performance exhaust system put together by Rennkat. Results are 340 hp and 282 Nm of torque from this Ariel Atom 3 that only weighs 469 kg. Driving this go-kart-like car is blast, and the track numbers prove it with a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 2.8 seconds.
Startech Land Rover Defender 90 Yacht Edition
Spotted on the Essen Motor Show floors is this Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition, put together by the Brabus affiliate Startech. Painted in a bright white color, this off-road capable SUV rides on 16-inch alloy rims wrapped in high performance tires. Adding extra style to the 4×4 Land Rover are new running boards with integrated entrance lights, a SVX grille, and white headlight covers. No blacking out of the exterior is seen here, since it is supposed to resemble a yacht, the Land Rover Defender 90 was decked out with white and wood accents throughout. The nautical themed cabin received most of the expensive modifications.

Hennessey Camaro SS HPE600
Here is the latest car tuning project from Hennessey Performance based on the all new Chevy Camaro SS called the HPE600. The orange car you see here is actually the model for the HPE550 package, but we think it looks better than the maroon HPE600 pictured below. It will be available for the 2010-2011 LS3 or L99 engines and boosted with a TVS2300 Supercharger System. Hence the HPE600 name, the modified Camaro now puts down 602 hp and 807 Nm of torque. The tuners who are located in Texas, claim that the 0-60 mph time is in the mid three-second range, and it can run the quarter mile in 11 seconds. A full list of performance customizations include the new supercharger system, HPE cold air induction system, 1 7/8 inch long tube stainless steel headers, fuel injector upgrade, high flowing catalytic converters, HPE engine management calibration, and a dyno tune to get everything in sync.
G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR
G-Power never ceases to amaze us, this time with the new BMW M6 Hurricane RR, which they claim to be the world’s fastest four seat coupe. Based off the factory BMW M6 Coupe, this Hurricane RR adopted the V10 twin supercharged engine found in the previous M5 Hurricane RR, that produces 800 horsepower around 7,500 rpm and 800 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. At the track, the 0 to 100 km/h was a little slow because of traction problems, but was still less than 4.35 seconds, however the 200 km/h mark was reached in 9.5 seconds, and in just 24.9 seconds it accomplished 300 km/h. Performance upgrades aren’t the only thing found on this BMW M6, G-Power hooked it up with some styling options next.

HRE Wheels On Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia
The rim and wheel manufacturers from HRE had a variety of exotic cars at the SEMA Show to showcase their wheels, one being the Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia. This car was first released over the summer, with an original production number of five cars all in white. Since then it has been extended to create seven of these automobiles, another white one, and this red one seen here. With the addition of the 20-inch HRE wheels the Ferrari 458 dropped eleven pounds from each corner of the car. Oakley Design then installed a new carbon fiber front lip to increase downforce at the front by more than fifty pounds. A silver rear spoiler delivers an additional 48 pounds of the force to the rear when it is traveling at 150 mph.
Anderson Germany Audi R8 Racing Edition
Here is the latest “Racing Edition” package for the Audi R8 V10 from the tuners at Anderson Germany. Starting off with a performance kit consisting of a new valve controlled sport exhaust system, racing cats, sports air filter, and new engine power management system, the Audi was able to drop the weight around 17 kg or 37 lbs. This results in numbers around 585 hp compared to the factory 525, and the top speed was increased by about 12 km/h or 7.5 mph. Exterior styling improvements came next with a new carbon front apron and rear spoiler, along with a carbon diffuser, carbon mirrors, and rear window bordering. Inside the Audi R8, the interior was re-trimmed around the door trims, radio frame, ashtray, gear shift frame, and steering wheel. Topping it off on all fours are the new lightweight alloy rims finished with a carbon fiber to complete the Racing Edition Audi from Anderson Germany.
