Check out this video in the cockpit of a Hennessey Ford GT driven by Sean Kennedy at the Texas Mile track. The Ford sports car actually belongs to Mark Heidaker, but the race driver Sean was able to bring the car up to 235 mph (378 km/h) at the Texas Mile track. At the Hennessey tuning companies shop, a custom twin-turbo setup was installed, along with several other parts to bring the output to around 1,000 horsepower. With this kind of a power a straight line race is best, however the Ford GT is still great on the track with the right driver.

The TunerWorks Canadian based supercar tuning company and distributor of high end packages from Brabus, Hamann, Renntech, and Veilside, have released this custom Ford GT. Not much work was performed on this car, and details are limited, however the main addition we see are the ADV1 wheels. We’ve seen these installed on a Lamborghini Murcielago before, and the result is simply stunning. Hit the jump to view more pictures.

A while back GeigerCars unleashed a performance package for the Ford GT that featured a 3.3-liter supercharger producing 701 hp and 837 Nm of torque. Now they bring to the table a larger, 4.0-liter supercharged engine that also comes with a sport air filter, new throttle valves, re-tuned electronics, and a more efficient cooling system. This Ford GT received the nickname Geiger HP 790 from GeigerCars since the performance numbers show 790 hp and 863 Nm of torque from the 5.4-liter V8 motor. All the extra power under the hood allows the Ford GT to run a 0-100 km/h time in 3.6 seconds, 0-300 km/h in 22.8 seconds, and claim a top speed of 360 km/h.

The Ford GT is already an amazing sports car; however, Wheelsandmore felt the performance could still be improved. The German car tuning company decided to modify this car even though it doesn’t really need much tuning to perform with the top names out there like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsche. The color scheme for this particular car may not appeal to many, but the power numbers will. With a stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and sport catalysts, and an upgrade to the ECU, the Ford GT’s power increased to 608hp and 790lb-ft of torque. Those are some impressive numbers; however, a larger compression ratio unleashes its true potential and brings huge power gains of 710hp and 840lb-ft of torque.
