The VW Golf IV R32 is an older model loved by many as the perfect tuning project. With a sure surplus of fans, this car has been one many have pushed to gain every ounce of power. The latest in the challenge, the German tuning specialist MTE, gave their Golf R32 IV a mean military-themed camouflage look to fit their BiTurbo2. With the stock R32, you might expect a 3.2-liter V6 pushing 241bhp with 320Nm (236 lb-ft) torque. After the tuning team over at MTE made a few upgrades and adjustments, they were able to achieve 790hp and 1,200Nm (885lb-ft) out of the Volkswagen Golf. That’s about 500hp more than MTE’s BiTurbo1.
