The tuners at SR Auto have released these pictures of the Ferrari 458 Italia they are calling the “Project Ice Blade“. The tuning company has been recognized around the world for their projects and this one proves just why. Aftermarket parts found on this build include a new body kit and wheels to improve the styling. Since they mostly focus on exterior modifications, we are sad to say the performance of Ferrari was left untouched.
Another great tuning work has been released by the guys at Manosory called the Siracusa and based on the Ferrari 458 Italia. The modified sports car features a new front apron with inlets, new bonnet, side skirts, and integrated ducts all made from carbon fiber. This shaves off 70 kg, while the rear window was swapped out with carbon fiber blades. The Ferrari 458 Siracusa is powered by the 4.5-liter V8, and named after a town in Sicily known for its historic race track. Power upgrades to the powerplant increased the figures to 590 PS and 560 Nm of torque, and consist of an ECU tuning remap, new air filter, and sport exhaust system.
The rim and wheel manufacturers from HRE had a variety of exotic cars at the SEMA Show to showcase their wheels, one being the Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia. This car was first released over the summer, with an original production number of five cars all in white. Since then it has been extended to create seven of these automobiles, another white one, and this red one seen here. With the addition of the 20-inch HRE wheels the Ferrari 458 dropped eleven pounds from each corner of the car. Oakley Design then installed a new carbon fiber front lip to increase downforce at the front by more than fifty pounds. A silver rear spoiler delivers an additional 48 pounds of the force to the rear when it is traveling at 150 mph.
