Cadillac XLR-V is probably the most expensive Caddy ever build with a price around $100,000. A lot of people said this car is not luxurious enough to match cars that have same price. Six figures price might be a bit too much for a car that lacks history and gorgeous interior of a Mercedes Benz SL for example. The american tuning company D3 tried to improve this car’s performances and they made a special tuning kit for the engine that already develops 433 HP. They installed a new admission system, modified the car’s exhaust and improved the engine cooling unit. As a result, the V8 engine can develop now more than 525 HP and D3 also offers performance tuning kits to 575 HP and 600 HP for speed addicts. D3 Cadillac CTS 2008

Car tuners from D3 Cadillac revealed a modified Cadillac CTS with a new tuning kit called Performance Exterior. Under the hood the car is equipped with a V6 3.6L engine that could develop 304 HP at 6400 Rpm with a maximum torque of 370 Nm. The car is a lot faster than the stock one and the new aerodynamic body kit gives more stability to the car and improves the car’s handling. The exterior kit is made from front grill, front bumper, side skirts, stainless steel exhaust system, rear bumper, spoiler and the D3 Rims. Other modifications made at this car where: installing new sport suspensions that bring the car closer to the ground, small changes to the Engine Cooling Unit and installing a new high performance braking system. Detroit Auto Show is over, and each year there are several awards given to the best concept and best production car or truck. If choosing the best truck was really hard, choosing the best concept and production car wasn’t too hard and Cadillac were crowned as champions. The decision for the best concept was judged by several automotive designers and specialists from General Motors and Chrysler so, they surely know that this car would be a hit in the future.
