While they are calling this a concept, it’s actually a teaser of the McLaren P1 that is set to debut on show floors by the end of 2013. McLaren has stated a simple goal for the new P1, “to be the best driver’s car in the world on road and track”. While that may be a little far fetched with all the competition these days, it surely may take the crown for some of the best styling we’ve ever seen. This design comes from the works of Chief Design Engineer Dan Parry-Williams and Design Director Frank Stephenson.

Mansory McLaren MP4-12C
With the Geneva Motor Show cars arriving a few days, Mansory has released this teaser image of their new tuning kit for the McLaren MP4-12C. We’ve seen a good number of McLaren tuning projects this year, and we know Mansory will always have a nice lineup of modifications. They focused on the power with this project by upgrading the 3.8-liter twin turbocharged engine with a new sport air filter, new exhaust system, and engine management system. Find out the results by reading more.
Wheelsandmore McLaren MP4-12C Toxique Evil
The popular tuners from Wheelsandmore have released this unique project based on the McLaren MP4-12C and are calling it the Diabolical Toxique Evil. They have hooked it up with both performance and styling parts to compete with the recently annnounced Hennessey McLaren MP4-12C supercar. While the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is a prestigious car to own, it can always use some improvements. Wheelsandmore was able to increase the factory 3.9-liter twin turbo V8 engine from 592 HP to 666 horsepower. Torque was also raised from the stock 442.5 lb-ft to around 472 lb-ft, which is plenty for an exotic car that is so lightweight.
McLaren F1 Replica Is Quite Cheap
These replica car makers are getting pretty good at what they do these days, just check out this McLaren F1 replica. While it doesn’t hold the same power as the original supercar, this one was constructed around an Audi V6 30v engine that most likely produces around 190 to 250 HP depending on the displacement. While the seller did not disclose all the specifications about the car, you can try to get your hands on this for about 150,000 Polish Zlotych, Euro €35,000 or US $45,000.
RENNtech Mercedes SLR McLaren
A slew of tuning companies showed up to resurrect this Mercedes SLR McLaren and turn it into one of the world’s fastest. The package uses body parts from Mansory, with tuners RENNtech, Exotics Boutique, Platinum Motorsport, and MACarbon bringing it all together. The kit on the exterior of the SLR is called the Renovatio from Mansory, and the supercharger comes courtesy of RENNtech. The transmission was also upgraded by RENNtech to handle all the extra power.
Gemballa Racing Plans Two McLaren MP4-12C GT3s
German tuning company Gemballa has announced their new racing division in development which will produce two McLaren MP4-12C GT3s for next season. They are both fitted with a new front spoiler, optimized air vents, large rear wing, and rear diffuser underneath. Inside is a carbon safety cell, while the McLaren’s will also hold a F1 style steering wheel with integrated display.
Michael Jordans McLaren SLR
The Mercedes McLaren SLR is a stunning car, and running across one of the special 722 Editions these days is like finding a needle in a hay stack. However, it gets better because this unique McLaren has been celebrity owned by the one and only basketball legend Michael Jordan. It is now being auctioned on eBay for a hefty price, but the car still has less than 1,000 miles! It received several modifications including 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels, modified suspension, stiffer damper setup, and 10 mm lower ride height.
FAB Design Mercedes SLR McLaren
FAB Design brings us their new model the “Desire,” however most of you probably wouldn’t desire this particular look for your Mercedes SLR McLaren. Although the numbers are impressive, it looks like FAB Design has too much time on their hands and went over the top with this look. What do you think? Anyways, the body has been redesigned by the Swiss company to include sturdy and light weight carbon that is produced in an autoclave. Exclusive FAB Design side skirts allow the high performance exhaust system to come out of the sides. In the rear they installed a large diffuser to reduce lift force, and gave buyers the option of the rear wing to increase down force without limiting the cars performance.
FAB Design Mercedes McLaren SLR
FAB Design is a tuning company that loves to modify expensive rides and we’ve recently seen a lot of news about them. The Swiss based company tried to make their own version of the popular McLaren SLR and they made a brand new body kit and an insane spoiler for this sports car. This radical SLR was spotted at FAB Design’s headquarters and with extreme extentions and a new front bumper the car looks like an aggressive monster. The new exterior kit makes it look lower and wider than it is already but this modified SLR lost that Formula One impression and that’s not a plus for us. The new spoiler is strange and a lot of people call it a TV antenna that has nothing to do with this SLR’s cool design.
ASMA Mercedes SLR McLaren Perfectus
ASMA Design is a car tuner from Germany that designs unique body kits for Mercedes and they recently unveiled their latest project based on a Mercedes SLR McLaren. They called their custom car “Perfectus” and it was originally developed for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi but it will soon be available for any SLR owner. The car has a slightly different look with a new front grille and front bumper, new side sills, extended rear fenders, a new rear bumper with rear diffuser and a small boot lip spoiler. The ASMA Mercedes SLR McLaren Perfectus is equipped with a 5.5L supercharged engine which delivers 700HP and has a maximum torque of 855 Nm.
Renntech 777 Mercedes SLR McLaren
Volker Mornhinweg, the AMG boss, declared last week that the horsepower war is over and they won’t try to reach extreme performances with the cars they modify. Hartmut Feyhl, the boss from Renntech, still likes powerful cars which can reach incredible speeds and he announced that his company will reveal Renntech 777 Mercedes SLR McLaren, a car developed to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, which has 777 HP. The car tuner says this is a completely new street legal track car and it will have a new body kit with improved aerodynamics, a big rear wing, new splitters and new side skirts. The car will be powered with a modified 5.5L supercharged Kompressor V8 engine and it will feature a new suspension, driveline and a special slip differential made by Renntech.
