MR Car Design VW Scirocco Black Rocco

The latest tuning performed by MR Car Design is on the VW Scirocco named the Black Rocco edition. The new Volkswagen Scirocco has an aggressive appearance and comes heavily modified. MR Car Design installed a Rieger body kit that includes a new front apron, side skirts, and rear valance with an integrated diffuser. The exterior received a sleek matte black paint job and 20 inch Emotion wheels to top it off. The rims come wrapped in Hankook S1 EVO high performance tires to improve handling on the VW Scirocco Black Rocco. Under the hood is the original 2.0-liter TSI engine, however many parts have been added on.

JMS VW Scirocco

The unique VW Scirocco has been modified by car tuning, and Volkswagen specialists JMS. They were able to customize this Volkswagen Scirocco with several exterior improvements to give it a stellar look. The first addition to the Scirocco is an aftermarket coil over kit from H&R that lowers the front 55 mm, rear 45 mm, and costs 1,069 Euros. This suspension setup not only improves the sports car look, however it enhances the handling and driving dynamics as well. Factory VW Scirocco wheels were traded out with larger 19×8.5 rims in the front, 19×9.5 in the rear, with tires measuring 225/35/R19, and 255/30/R19 respectively. Aiming for the unique and perfect sounding sports car, JMS installed a stainless steel muffler from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems, which also improves the performance numbers.

JMS has released a new tuning package for the special Volkswagen Scirocco. Their remarkable version of this popular coupe has a new discreet body kit which manages to keep the car’s original look and includes a Racelook front lip spoiler which lowers the car’s front side by 30 mm, a unique rear apron with diffuser stripes and carbon inserts and a quad-pipe rear muffler made from stainless steel. The car tuning company installed H&R coilovers that lower the front side of the car by 55 mm and the rear by 45 mm. The special suspension kit from H&R improves the car’s handling and it makes it look sportier and more aggressive. The JMS Volkswagen Scirocco comes equipped with large wheels measuring 8.5 x 19″ with wide tires sized 235/35 R19.

Almost everyone enjoyed the new Volkswagen Scirocco and since a lot of people bought this car, tuners prepared new styling kits to make it look unique. The latest tuning kit for the new Scirocco was made by the guys from Caractere and their project was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. The new body kit includes a new front and rear spoiler, new front grille, a set of side vents and door trims and a small roof spoiler. The rear side of the car received a new spoiler which can be supplied with or without the new exhaust tips. The Caractere Volkswagen Scirocco can be equipped with CH1 wheels which come in three sizes: 18″, 19″ or 20″ and will have wide tires for increased stability and better handling. The car tuning company Sportec released an upgrade package for Volkswagen Scirocco which comes with a performance upgrade and better suspension. The Sportec Volkswagen Scirocco SC 350 is based on the 2.0 version of this car and received an incredible power boost: the engine now delivers 350 HP, 110HP more than the stock version and the maximum torque increased from 280 Nm to 480 Nm. The guys from Sportec re-programmed the car’s engine cooling unit, installed a staineless steel exhaust system, a custom turbocharger designed by them, a change air intercooler and they improved the car’s fuel system. Sportec also offers a carbon engine cover for their Scirocco for customers that want to change this car’s look.

They tried to make it look really dynamic they wanted to increase it’s power and agility. Rieger Volkswagen Scirocco

After Oettinger and ABT, another well known tuning company that made a special tuning kit for Scirocco is Rieger. Oettinger Volkswagen Scirocco

The new Volkswagen Scirocco is one of the best looking vehicles built by Volkswagen. The car has been on sale in Europe for just a month and Oettinger already made a special tuning kit for it. The new kit has a new front spoiler, side skirts and a rear air diffuser, a special exhaust system with 4 pipes made from stainless steel and 20″ Oettinger RXX alloy wheels. In the interior the car has sporting appeal with carbon fiber elements, stainless steel kick plates and pedals made from aluminum.

Under the hood, the guys from Oettinger modified the engine control unit and now the 2.0L turbo engine can develop 240 HP and the 1.4L TSI engine can develop 200 HP. They will create a special performance kit for the 2.0L TSI engine that will have 350 HP and 470 Nm. Read More →
