The Volkswagen Polo GTI is the latest car to be customized by the renowned suspension experts from H&R. Using their specially developed components on this VW hatchback, the tuners were able to improve the handling and driving dynamics. From the factory, the VW Polo GTI comes with 180 hp and a 7-gear double clutch transmission, however the focus for this project was the suspension. H&R was able to lower the car by 20 mm in the front, and 30 mm at the rear, while the option to drop the car 45 mm is still possible. Further improvements to the Volkswagen GTI Polo include an adjustable Monotube coilover suspension, H&R stabilizers, and TRAK+ wheels spacers made from high tensile aluminum alloy for superior strength.

The guys from Oettinger have tweaked the Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 BiTDI for those looking to boost the power output. They skipped the exterior and interior modifications to simply tune the engine management system and reap the benefits. The German pickup truck now delivers 190 hp, a nice 27 horsepower gain over the factory model, and the twin turbo pushes 430 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. This slight tuning also improved the track time, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 187 km/h. Pricing for this VW Amarok tuning is €1,090 from Oettinger.
The Volkswagen Golf R is the latest car to receive an upgrade package from the tuning company Wimmer RS. Dubbed the Red Devil, this kit adds and impressive power boost to the Golf. Modifications begin with an ECU upgrade, re-fitted turbochargers and piping, custom injection nozzles, TFSI tuning, and aftermarket connecting rods. The list of custom work continues with new lamp coating, cylinder heads, larger intercooler, oil cooler, new intake system, additional oil pump, and an improved crankshaft. But wait, there’s still more for the VW Golf R. The Wimmer RS engineers installed a second low pressure fuel pump, sport camshafts, and a handmade stainless steel exhaust system with a sport catalyst converter.
The tuning company at CFC teamed up with MK Soundstyle in Nuess, Germany to put together this custom program for the Volkswagen Golf GTI sport hatch. As far as the exterior goes, the Golf GTI only received a matte silver paint job with a new set of bespoke wheels. The new paint costs 1,500 Euros, while the tuners added a few extra elements to make it more attractive. For the stance on this Volkswagen, CFC installed an upgraded suspension kit that goes for 749 Euros. A new high performance exhaust system from Eisenmann gives it a throaty sound, and the engine tuning came next.
The car tuners from McChip have released a new performance kit for the Volkswagen Golf R recently. Several upgrades were made including styling improvements and engine tuning. The VW Golf R received a new set of springs from H&R to lowering the ride height, and a wheel package made up of 19-inch OZ Ultraleggera wheels wrapped in high performance Michelin Pilot Sport Club tires was installed. Pricing for the suspension springs is only 350 Euros, while the new rims and tires go for 3,190 Euros. But more important were the upgrades that McChip performed under the hood of the Volkswagen Golf R.
