Stillen Nissan GT-R Rally Car

Stillen has taken the stock Nissan GT-R and modified it into a true rally car that will compete at the upcoming Targa Newfoundland rally race. The new Nissan GT-R received several car tuning parts to make it faster, lighter, and improve handling for the upcoming race. Stillen experts focused on an extreme weight saving program by replacing stock pieces with carbon fiber, and removing unnecessary components. Then they modified the engine, installed an aftermarket suspension, bigger brakes, and a nice sounding exhaust system. Keeping the stock motor set in place, Stillen took the Nissan GT-R Rally Car and tuned the ECU, along with all the aftermarket parts for a total output of 620 hp. At the track it is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 2.9 seconds, one of the few tuned cars to break the 3.0 second mark.

Abflug Nissan GT-R

The all new Abflug Nissan GT-R has received its latest aerodynamic package from the Japanese car tuning company Abflug. There are several performance and exterior styling kits already available for the Nissan GT-R. Abflug used their taste to create something unique that includes a new front lip spoiler, side skirts, carbon fiber rear wing and bumper, with an attached diffuser. This definitely will not be the last of the modifications that are released for the Nissan GT-R, as it is expected to be a top selling sports car because of the price and performance it has to offer.

Nismo Nissan GT-R

Nissan has launched their Nismo brand upgrade for the brand new Nissan GT-R which will boost the power numbers significantly. The upgrade will tune the engine and add transmission management software, but the only way to get the package is by renting it. The ECU upgrade and TCM start out at a two year price of 294,000 yen ($3,090 USD) and if you wish to continue to have it installed after the two years, there is a $330 yearly rent fee. What’s convenient about this modification is that it is a standalone program which can be installed easily on any GT-R model and also the SpecV.

Switzer P700 Nissan GT-R

Switzer Performance Innovation (SPI), a car tuning company from Ohio, have released details on their P700 package for the highly anticipated Nissan GT-R.  With over 15 years experience tuning all different imports from Europe to Japan, Switzer Performance was able to get 700hp out of this GT-R, hence the ‘P700′.  SPI is well-known for tuning Porsche’s and recently introduced the 1,000 hp Sledgehammer 997.   However, for this project they aimed to maintain a reliable and everyday driver at 93 octane. At stock the new Nissan GT-R is able to produce 480 hp and 434 ft-lbs of torque.  So the first major upgrade SPI decided to go with were brand new Garrett GT ball-bearing turbochargers with custom compressor wheels to increase the boost.

Branew Nissan GT-R Black Edition

Branew loves to modify Nissans and their white GT-R was turning heads at every car show where the company took it. The white GT-R by Branew received positive feedback everywhere and now the tuning company decided to launch a second demo car painted in black. The car is one of the best examples of GT-R tuning and it’s equipped with the latest Branew body styling parts. The front side of the car received a new front lip spoiler which adds a stylish touch to the front end. The tuner also installed wide side skirts which work really well against the 22″ Matte Finish wheels. Nissan tuning magazine has other modified GT-Rs but the newest demo car from Branew is more aggressive and sportier than any other tuning kits for this car.

One of the cars that almost every car tuner wants to modify is the Nissan GT-R. They all try to stand out from the crowd and each tuning company redesign and bring a lot of improvements to this Japanese car. Shadow Sport Design made a new aerodynamic kit for the Nissan GT-R that is completed by a set of 20″ forged magnesium wheels. The new aero package includes a front under spoiler, a rear wing and a rear diffuser that incorporates the new tailpipes of the full titanium muffler. With these improvements the GT-R has less air resistance and gained a slight power boost.

Cobra Nissan GT R

It seems that everyone is trying to make their own version of Nissan GT-R. The car was a hit everywhere in the world and many tuning companies made special modification packages for this ride. A couple of days ago the guys from Cobra Technology & Lifestyle released their own upgrade package for the GT-R. The standard version of this car has a 3.8L V8 engine that delivers 485 HP but after a couple of improvements, the Cobra Nissan GT-R could deliver 550 HP at a maximum torque of 680 Nm. To get this power boost the car’s engine cooling unit was re-programmed and it also received an increased boost pressure and sport air filters. Even though it’s not ready yet, this Cobra Nissan GT-R will receive a high performance exhaust system made from stainless steel with metal catalysts.

Hennessey Performance is a company well known for adding crazy amounts of horsepower in a true American muscle car. Now, the Houston-based tuner started to modify the new king of Japan – Nissan GT-R, a car also known as Godzilla. The Hennessey Godzilla 700 Nissan GT-R tuning package comes in two stages: with 600 HP and with 700 HP. The 600 HP includes polished aluminum intercooler pipes, an upgrade for the car’s air intake, stainless steel turbo pipes, an electric boost controller and a new exhaust. It costs $14,000 and it also comes with an wastergate upgrade and a blow-off valve.

One of the best tuning companies from Japan and almost unknown in the US is Arios. The guys from Arios have designed a special tuning kit for Nissan GT-R. The body kit is made only from carbon fiber and it’s made from front bumper, custom grill, carbon cover for the engine and it will also receive a Godzilla spoiler that will make this car look really agressive. The 19″ rims add a nice contrast to the car and improve the car’s image a lot. From what we know they only made exterior modifications and in the future they will try to improve this car’s performances and interior. Nissan GT-R R35 is probably the Nissan that everyone tries to modify. The car looks really well as a stock car but with serious improvements it’s a reputable racing car. The guys from Zele have created a special tuning kit that is made from a lot of carbon fiber accessories. The exterior body kit is made from the front bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler, a modified front grill and Rays rims. I’m not really impressed with the car’s color but i’m sure you could order any paint you want. They’ve also worked at the car’s performances and the car is faster now with an upgrade at the engine cooling unit. They car’s speed limit was also eliminated and it could reach incredible speeds now. Zele also installed new exhaust system made from titanium and this car will have a warranty of 1 year.
