Kleemann Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009:

Kleemann tuners love to create performance tuning packages for Mercedes super cars and their latest project is based on a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series. The car is the most powerful AMG Mercedes model has ever produced and even though the stock version is equipped with an engine that has 670 HP the Danish-based tuner thought this is not enough and that’s why they made some miracles under the hood. Kleeman engineers created a special performance kit called 65-K2 which will tweak this car’s power to make it even more powerful. The stock 6L V12 engine received over 50 HP and now their SL65 has an engine which can deliver 720 HP and a maximum torque of 1,150 Nm.

Inden Design Mercedes SL65 AMG

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009:

The White Angel is Inden Design‘s latest upgrade package for the Mercedes SL65 AMG. The car is based on the 2005 SL65 AMG model and it has been redesigned to look just like the new 2008 SL model. Inden Design installed new front and rear aprons, new headlights, a new bonnet and a carbon rear diffuser which gives this vehicle a race car look and feeling. The exterior look was also improved by installing a new exhaust system made from stainless steel and eye catching 19″ rims. Under the hood, the Inden Design Mercedes SL65 AMG has an improved turbo charger, a new intercooler which is more powerful than the one from the stock car and an extra gear oil cooler. The car tuners also re programmed the car’s engine cooling unit and after all these performance modifications their SL65 AMG could deliver 680 HP.

The guys from RENNTech thought that 500 HP is not enough for this Mercedes and they wanted to improve the car’s performances. They’ve modified the V12 engine and after a couple of days the engine could develop 695 HP and a maximum torque of 895 Nm.  This performance tuning kit is called “stage 3″ and uses improved engine cooling unit that would make your car’s engine “chill out” after a short race.
