Switzer R1KX Nissan GT-R Red Katana Runs 8’s

A quick update here from Switzer tuning, the Nissan GT-R R1KXRed Katana” has just ran its best quarter mile in 8.97 seconds at 163 miles per hour. They tested the car at Norwalk, Ohio’s Summit Motorsports Park and this is an unbelievable record for a car that can still be a daily driver. Vivid Racing Nissan GT-R

Vivid Racing put together a tuning program for the godzilla Nissan GT-R that improves performance and styling. With the addition of a Cobb Accessport ECU tune, the twin turbocharged V6 engine now produces 605 HP. These 60 ponies are a nice addition to the factory 545 horsepower. However, that large of a boost wasn’t just from the Cobb Accessport unit, a new Agency Power exhaust lightens the undercarriage and helps the car breathe easier.

Switzer Performance Nissan GTR P600 PKG

Sunday, August 12th, 2012:

A few new goodies have been released by Switzer Performance for their Nissan GTR line of tuning kits. This one is specifically called the P600 PKG, and offers a minor boost from the factory 545 HP to now 600 horsepower. The increase comes from new high flow air filters, a SS90 high performance exhaust and ECU software tuning. Even though this power increase is modest, the Nissan GTR still benefits from the kit with a 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of only 2.6 seconds.

The Miami based tuners at 360 Forged have hooked up this Nissan GTR with their latest set of Concave Spec 12 wheels. Making the powerful Nissan supercar even more stylish, these rims measuring 21×9.5 up front and 21×12 at the rear. They feature brushed titanium centers, a deep chrome lip and were wrapped in high performance Pirellis P-Zero tires measuring 255/30/21 at the front and 375/20/21 in the rear. Nissan Stagea GT-R Front End Swap

Check out this JDM M35 Nissan Stagea with a Nissan GTR front end. This is very similar to one of the first R35 GTR station wagon that was seen at the Nagoya Auto Show in 2009. Looks like the body sculptor did an excellent job with the front bumper, fenders and hood to make it look almost stock. Many Nissan GTR tuning enthusiasts will be impressed with this project as it will surely turn heads driving down the road.
