It looks like the best Saleen cars have come to an end, since the parent company Revstone announced plans to ceise manufacturing the performance Ford Mustangs. A sad day for the tuning world, especially in the states since the Mustang is one of the most popular cars to modify these days. Hopefully, something better will come. They want to focus on other aftermarket performance parts, and will stop production of the S302 come the third quarter of 2011. As seen in previous articles here on Fancy Tuning, the S302 Ford Mustang GT features an aftermarket body kit, sport suspension, and limited slip differential for boosted performance.

As far as performance modifications, the Roush & Shelby Mustang SR-71 comes with a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine complemented by a 2.3L Whipple Twin Screw Supercharger and a Roush intake. These tuning experts also updated their SR-71 with a new exhaust from Ford Racing, a new handling pack, and reinforced roll cage. Priced at just under $40,000 for starters, this package drastically improves the cars power, handling, and much more. For the visual upgrades, the Steeda team added an aerodynamic hood, rear aero wing, insane sidewinder graphics, and a brand new set of 20-inch Spyder alloys wrapped in Nitto NT05 high-performance tires (275/35/20).

Calling it the DUB Edition Mustang, Ford owners can look forward to a sleek and head-turning sports car. After the engine modifications, the Mustang boasts a powerful 305 horsepower which also offers an amazing 31 mpg on the highway. This car is topping the charts with its great power to fuel consumption ratio. DUB and Ford are planning to launch the new series this fall, and it will be available in a coupe, convertible, or a stunning glass rooftop version.
Steve Saleen and his company SMS Supercars have released the new 302 Ford Mustang to the Signature Series line after the success of the 570 Challenger. These custom built Mustangs will be the only authorized vehicles to bear the Saleen name, benefiting from the heritage and high performance innovations over the years. At the exterior, the impressive 302 Mustang received new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and rear diffuser with an integrated F1 rain light. Chrome alloy wheels measuring 20×9 in the front, and 20×10 in the rear were installed with high performance tires to improve handling and complete the styling.
