The Monza-based tuning company Aznom has taken the Fiat 500 Abarth back to it rear-engine design days with their model called the Motore Centrale. This mid-rear mounted powerplant now produces 230 PS and 330 Nm of torque, while the weight has been reduced to 1050 kg. This allows the Fiat 500 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h. Performance tuning for the Fiat Motore Centrale consists of a new Garrett turbocharger, 200-cell catalyst, and new injectors to handle the extra air. A Bilstein suspesnion package was installed for improved handling with this Fiat tuning kit, however hit the jump to see the video of the car trying to drift, because it doesn’t turn out so well.
