Schwabenfolia took their car tuning skills to the test with this Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X that they are calling the Stealth Fighter. They did everything from improving the performance to wrapping the car with a matte grey foil wrap. The stock 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder received several software and mechanical upgrades to bring the output from 295 PS to 390 PS with 520 Nm of torque.
Check out the video after the jump of the most powerful Mitsubishi EVO X that just set a new record with 908 AWHP. It destroyed the most recent EVO X by more than 90 horsepower to the wheels, so there is no denying this will hold the crown for quite some time. Most people wouldn’t even think it’s possible to get close to 1,000 HP to the wheels out of a 2.0-liter four cylinder. This owner proves anything is possible when you turn up the boost and risk blowing the engine. However, he can now say he owns the baddest Mitsubishi EVO X in the world!
Hopefully this will not be a new trend on the dyno block, but now we have a video of a Mitsubishi EVO falling off the dyno because the guys didn’t strap up the front. Two straps at the front is all that would have been needed to keep this from happening, and there seemed to be at least 10 people watching who were clueless. C’mon man! This better not be a customers car or else the company could go out of business for mistakes like this. Last week we had a video of some tuning company blowing the engine on a tuned Ford Mustang. Fortunately, no one was hurt in either of these accidents, but now its the cars that have to suffer from these idiots mishaps. Now, let’s just hope these guys have some good insurance for crashing the cars.
Now this is a tuned Evo X! Built by the tuners at AMS, the Mitsubishi Evo X 900X is powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a variety of high performance modifications. The turbo kit on this Evo X consists of GT900X V-band and features a Tial 44mm wastegate, Racing Series exhaust system, and Tial Alpha QR blow off valve. Internals were replaced with Spec JE pistons, Kelford cams, Manley I-Beam rods, upgraded valve springs, and new head studs. A new intercooler system was installed along with a 800 hp fuel system. Aerodynamics were improved with some carbon fiber aftermarket parts, and the AMS Evo X 900X also has an upgraded braking system and suspension. Check out the video after the jump.
Here is some interesting tuning performed on a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X, where the owner turned this four door sedan into a two door coupe. The car is currently on eBay because the owner “doesn’t want to finish it” anymore. I wonder why? Maybe because it looks hideous? One of the best things about these cars is the fact that they have four doors, over 300 horsepower, and all wheel drive. Besides the unique EVO tuning performed here, this Mitsubishi Lancer features a wide body kit, deep dish alloy rims, coilover suspension kit, and an upgraded turbo package. Possibly, this tuners nightmare could be fixed with a wing, because whoever drew the sketches made it look a lot better.
