The Corvette ZR1 is considered one of the most impressive sports cars in the United States, and the German tuners from Geiger Cars has taken it under their wing. Debatably one of the best performing sports cars today, the stock Corvette ZR1 features the LS9 6.2-liter small block engine that produces 647 hp and 823 Nm of torque. Geiger was able to distribute the weight better for improved handling by installing an electronically controlled sport suspension. They also added a high performance brake system with carbon ceramic brake discs measuring 394 and 381 mm. Geiger Cars decided the performance numbers were not enough, so they improved them with some simple engine tuning, and named it the GTS Corvette ZR1. With the modifications to the engine, Geiger was able to pump out 710 hp at 6,600 rpm and 918 Nm of torque at only 4,200 rpm with the Corvette ZR1.

The Corvette ZR1 is already one of the fastest production cars at 638 bhp, however Hennessey Performance Engineering has raised the level to 705 bhp. Too much horsepower is never enough, even for the all new 2010 Corvette ZR1 that pushes 717 ft-lbs of torque at 3,200 rpms from the rear wheels. The extra power upgrades were accomplished by adding a new supercharger, ECU tuning, air intake, and performance exhaust system. The Corvette ZR1 received lightweight carbon fiber rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, reducing the rotating weight by 60 lbs. A Z-Aero carbon fiber front splitter was installed, along with canards and a rear spoiler supply over 300 lbs of down force to the rear of the vehicle.
European tuners Geiger Cars have released a striking package for the new Corvette Z06, and named this model ‘Wild Thing’. The bright green color choice for the paint is definitely wild, but it’s the power numbers that were meant to impress. Geiger Cars was able to claim an astonishing 890 horsepower after their modifications, with 940 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpms. The mods include customizing the cylinder block, head, and crankshaft which increased the displacement from 7.0-liters to 7.6-liters. They didn’t stop there however, Geiger Cars added two turbochargers to make it a biturbo (twin turbo) model. With those performance gains, the Corvette Z06 can reach an acclaimed top speed of 354 km/h!
