On a special episode of Head 2 Head, Jason Cammisa from Automobile Magazine was at the scene to watch this Bugatti Veyron take on the all new Lamborghini Aventador. This drag race features two of the most expensive cars in the world with the most power out of the factory. You can also watch the beginning of the video to see the Lexus LFA and McLaren MP4-12C battle it out on the landing strip. See who can try to top the Bugatti Veyron, king of the super cars.
Gemballa Racing has released pictures of this stunning Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir with a bright blue car wrap that was done by the company Cam Shaft. The wrapping specialist has done a great job with past cars, and this one is no different. This Bugatti Veyron is going to be a promotion car for Gemballa Racing, and features glow in the dark lighting strikes in the wrap, along with Gemballa logos throughout. While there were no performance parts installed, simply because the car doesn’t need it, Gemballa will use this Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir to grab the enthusiasts attention at the race events like the German ADAC GT Masters Series this weekend.
At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti has released the latest Veyron varaint called the Grand Sport Vitesse. This amazing super car is claimed to be fastest roadster in the world, without tuning of course. We recall the standard Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport was limited to 217 mph. The new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse received four larger turbochargers to give it 1,200 horsepower and 1106 lb-ft of torque, capable of reaching 229 mph from the factory. Now just wait until some tuning companies get their hands on this beast. That is, if anyone is crazy enough to modify a 2-3 million dollar super car.
It’s hard to say that the chrome car wraps are catching on, but check out this TAM and Dartz tuned Bugatti Veyron that has been wrapped in red chrome. It actually looks stunning in the sun and with the rays reflecting, it changes from a red to orange look with the chrome finish. The initial tuning job for the chrome wrap was performed by TAM Auto Engineering in Dubai, however the Dartz tuners have their hands on it now in France. The Bugatti Veyron also appears to have wheels that have been wrapped, some interior upgrades, and of course the chrome red skin covering the exterior. Most people on this site would kill to own a Bugatti Veyron, but when reality sets in, it’s just not going to happen. That’s when the Bugatti Veyron replica car builders come to play, and this two million dollar Bugatti Veyron now has a cheap price tag. Well not exactly cheap at 89,000 USD, but a fraction of what it would cost to own a real Bugatti Veyron. This replica car was built on a 2002 Mercury Cougar with a V6 and automatic transmission. Only major problem I see is the car having 112,000 miles! It will probably need a new engine swap and suspension soon, however a potential new owner will have the body work, 20-inch wheels, angel eye HID headlights, LED taillights, functional gas cap, and power windows with working mirrors. The eBay seller says the interior is still in progress but very close to being ready for upholstery. We’ll keep our eye on this one and see how it turns out. You can check the listing here.
