Celebrating their 100th Hurricane, G-Power has made this BMW M5 unique with some extra power under the hood. By installing an Alpha-N engine management unit, the powerplant now produces 830 PS while the torque stayed the same at 800 Nm. G-Power has set new records with this BMW M5 by reaching 372 km/h or 231 mph which is approximately the same as a McLaren F1 supercar.

Even though they made this 100th edition have some extra boost, unfortunately it did not make the car quicker off the line. The 0 to 100 km/h time was recorded at 4.3 seconds, while the sports car reached 200 km/h in 9.1 seconds. This is still an amazing feat to hold the world’s fastest sedan title, and we’re sure there will be more updates for the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RRs series in the future.

With the popularity of the VW Transporter T5 vans, we knew it would only be a matter of time before someone came up with a great idea. British company Doubleback has put this VW T5 into production that turns it into a mini motor home. With the press of a button, the rear slides out and nearly doubles the interior space. An elevating rooftop gives you the room to stand inside, while a kitchen area holds a 50-liter fridge with icebox. The only thing holding back this VW Transporter Doubleback is the expensive price tag.

In the UK, this modified van retails for £55,000, US$89,300 or €67,500 which is about twice the price of a stock VW T5 Transporter. However, when comparing this to a normal sized RV or motorhome, the Volkswagen 2.0-liter turbo diesel powerplant will be more efficient with a fuel economy of 36.7 mpg UK, 30.6 mpg US or 7.71 lt/km. These figures will most likely be the main selling point for the VW Transporter Doubleback with the fuel prices so inflated today.

Recent news has it that Frizzi Arnold was crowned Miss Tuning 2012 at Tuning World Bodensee in Germany. With the original pool of over 500 applicants, fans from around the world voted who should be the new title holder. The 22 year old model from Chemnitz, Germany took the crown, and we have all the pictures from the event for you. Runner up was Alena Lackmann, while third place was grabbed by Phaedra Mueller Heyweiler from Munich. The leading current British Formula One drivers are Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, and their fans and fans of the racing team McLaren are spoiled beyond belief when it comes to F1 Merchandise. There is range of clothing for women, men and children that includes tops, coats, hats and shoes bearing the McLaren logo and that of the current sponsors, as well as tops that are printed with the names of your favourite McLaren driver. Part of the range is specially designed by Hugo Boss and is precisely the same range of clothing that the team wore during 2011.

For women the Hugo Boss teamware range includes a limited edition very feminine sweatshirt with a low v-neck and elasticated empire line, a limited edition slim fitting foil effect polyester t-shirt with embossed logos, a slim fitting stylish jacket, and a great little white t-shirt. Men enjoy a similar range of Hugo Boss teamware items with a masculine cut and as Lewis, Jenson and the rest of the team wore during the 2011 season.

As well as clothing there is a range of special items and f1 gifts that include diecast models, hand crafted 1/8 scale models of racing cars, slot car racing sets and model car construction kits, team accessories that include pocket money items such as a team lanyard and key rings, along with official team earplugs, water bottles, and a laptop sleeve that features a sketched design of the 2011 McLaren race car. There are also posters featuring photographs taken from the 2011 season, some of which are signed by Lewis Hamilton, and a range of DVDs and books.

The replica helmets also deserve a mention. These range from half scale models made from fibreglass and polyurethane through to full scale replicas of Jenson’s, Lewis’ and Senna’s helmets. These are all limited editions and are priced at a little under £4,000, though the top of the range is a diamond encrusted replica of Lewis’s 2008 Monaco Grand Prix helmet (which will set you back £15,000).

Even though Rimac is a brand new manufacturer trying to make it in supercar industry, it looks like their have their eyes set on one thing. The SUPER wealthy. This Croatian built automobile is currently called the Concept_One after it made a debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year. This year, Rimac displayed the electric powered sports car at the Top Marques Monaco and announced the price to be around €750,000 or about US$990,000. We’re not sure how that will fair with the modestly price Fisker Karma at around 100k, which is another fully electric sports car receiving quite the buzz.

One of the perks of spending close to a million dollars on this Rimac Concept_One is that only 88 of these supercars are planned to be built. The most appealing aspect of the Concept_One is that it can reach 100 km/h or 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds while topping out at 305 km/h or 190 mph. This all comes from the acclaimed 1088 horsepower and 3800 Nm of torque!

According to Rimac, the 92 kWh battery will allow customers to driving up to 600 kilometers or 373 miles. A very important aspect if you plan on going electric. Finally, the full carbon fiber body was designed by Adriano Mudri, while the interior was put together by a team of Pininfarina employees with Bulgarian customization company Vilner helping out.
