ABT Sportsline has released a new tuning package for the diesel version of the all new Volkswagen Beetle. The German tuners have tweaked the 2.0-liter TDI four cylinder powerplant to now produce 168 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. A plentiful increase from the factory 138 HP and 320 Nm of torque. With the popularity of the VW Transporter T5 vans, we knew it would only be a matter of time before someone came up with a great idea. British company Doubleback has put this VW T5 into production that turns it into a mini motor home. With the press of a button, the rear slides out and nearly doubles the interior space. An elevating rooftop gives you the room to stand inside, while a kitchen area holds a 50-liter fridge with icebox. The only thing holding back this VW Transporter Doubleback is the expensive price tag.
The German car wrap specialists at Car Film Components aka CFC, have taken this Volkswagen Golf VI GTI to whole new level with some interesting car tuning. First off, the small sport hatch was wrapped with a matte grey vinyl car wrap, while the roof and mirrors received new carbon fiber pieces. A unique comic-like strip was placed on the front fenders, GTI logos, fuel cap, and inner part of the front grille for an extra customized appearance. Rounding out the body modifications are a new carbon fiber kit consisting of a front spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser.
A new package for the Volkswagen Golf V R32 has been released by tuners at MR Car Design. This was a joint operation with BTS-Racing and the final product is quite impressive. Under the hood, the engine received a R32 HPG turbo kit along with a reinforced DSG transmission to handle all the extra power. After the performance tuning was completed, the car now produces a stunning 465 PS and 550 Nm of torque. However, this wasn’t all for the highly modified VW Golf R32.
At the upcoming Geneva Auto Show, ABT Sportsline has put together a nice little package for the Volkswagen up! They will also have the new Volkswagen Beetle on display along with an Audi A6 Avant and Q3 crossover SUV. It comes right on time for this Geneva Salon event, that goes together with the Frankfurt Motor Show showcasing some of the best cars throughout Europe. On the exterior you will find an interesting graphic design to go with the new spoilers. This transforms the outside while the tuning company focused on producing more power for the other vehicles.
