On a special episode of Head 2 Head, Jason Cammisa from Automobile Magazine was at the scene to watch this Bugatti Veyron take on the all new Lamborghini Aventador. This drag race features two of the most expensive cars in the world with the most power out of the factory. Here is an interesting video from Road & Track where they tested the all new 2013 BMW M5 against its American rival the Cadillac CTS-V. Last year, the Caddy took the victory by a slim margin, so watch the video after the jump to see who takes the honor this year. From the factory, the Cadillac CTS-V holds a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 producing 556 horsepower. The new competition, 2013 BMW M5 now carries a 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8 outputting a similar 553 HP. Now the pricing difference, $64,515 for the Cadillac or $89,900 for the BMW.
This insane crash involving Anthony Davidson and his Toyota TS030 Hybrid has recently occurred at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Davidson was trying to lap the AF Corse Ferrari driven by Piergiuseppe Peranzzini, however the Italian obviously did not see him and took out the back end. This sent the Toyota sideways where it eventually caught some wind underneath to send it flying through the air. Both cars crashed into the barrier and Peranzzini was able to walk out after his Ferrari rolled over. Anthony Davidson climbed out of his Toyota, but laid down shortly after and was taken to the medical center. Doctors confirm that he is conscious, but looks to be suffering from shock and back pain.
You have to be kidding me, this Hummer H2 project is one of the craziest trucks we have ever seen. Whoever built this monstrosity called it the Black Knight, and obvious felt the need for attention. It has everything from Lambo doors to multiple machine gunes, swords and axes bolted onto the exterior. There are more lights and LEDs flashing than you can even count, but that didn’t stop the owner from showing it off in these videos. Prepare yourself to watch the Hummer H2 from hell.
A fellow reader sent us this video of the King of Europe drift event sponsored by Dotz Tuning Wheels. This took place in Poznan, Poland and featured 67 tuned cars to hit the track along with the Dotz Drift Team. Three of their top drivers, Adam Kerenyi, Sebastien Cornec and Diego Quaranta killed it, while you can see some of the powerful rides in the video below. This drift event was mostly made up of Nissan’s and BMW’s, however a couple Toyota’s and large trucks were seen tearing it up as well.
