The wheel specialists at TSportline have given tuners some ideas when it comes to customizing the Tesla Model S. With these gold and bronze colored rims, it reminds us of the days when Subaru would put gold wheels on the rally blue Impreza WRX STi. They also had some tasteful modifications for their cars, and the all electric Tesla will follow closely in its path thanks to TSportline.
Here is a perfect example of what a de-chroming can do to make your car extra unique while still keeping the stock parts in check. The owner of this Tesla Model S gave his sports car to the tuners at Al & Ed’s Autosound where they covered all the chrome exterior parts in a 3M satin black film. The lower body trim parts were also painted the same color as the body, as well as the nose cone. As you can see, the only chrome pieces left on the Tesla Model S are the license plate frames for marketing use, which we’re sure have been removed by owner.
For this original project, Brabus joined forces with German electricity company RWE to manufacture the Green Package for the Tesla Roadster Sport. It comes with a quick charging station for the owner’s garage, which is good for 30,000 kilometers worth of electric power. Buyers also receive a one-year pass to use all the public RWE charging stations whenever available. With the quick charging station, the Tesla Roadster can receive a full charge in less than six hours, for a driving range of 350 km. But, Brabus is still a top of the line tuning company that had to modify this little sports car. At the exterior they added a carbon fiber lip and installed LED daytime running lights in the front grille. A discrete carbon wing and diffuser were also added, however don’t think this is the only color paint option.
