Smart tuning information with articles and pictures about modified Smart cars for Smart tuning enthusiasts.
Check out this video below of a Smart Car with a Toyota Paseo Sprintex supercharged engine blowing away a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. If it weren’t for the Smart Car destroying blower belt after popping the wheelie and prematurely hitting the brakes before the finish line, he would be able to say he beat a 12 second car. Surely the Mustang could use a driver mod, as that car is much faster than the 13.6 it posted. Still, this Smart Car owner might need a wheelie bar at the rear if he plans to drag racing in the future.
At the Geneva Motor Salon, Carlsson released this new package for the Smart Fortwo. While we aren’t great fans of this tiny sports car, if you even want to call it a sports car, they are catching on and selling worldwide. More people everyday are looking for Smart tuning ideas to boost the pitiful 1.0-liter engine. Carlsson has introduced this CK10 package to add a new sport air filter and revise the ECU to bring the output to 110 horsepower and 158 Nm of torque.
Smart Fortwo is one of the most wanted mini cars in the world and every owner would like to make his Smart unique. There were a lot of car tuning companies that created special tuning kits for Smart Fortwo and now Carlsson decided to modify this tiny car too. They created a special aerodynamic kit that is made from a new front bumper with chrome grill and new headlights and a rear bumper with a small diffuser. The german tuning company also offers a new suspension to increase this car’s handling and 16″ or 17″ rims. The car’s interior is also modified and everything is painted white: the body kit, rims and even the car’s interior. Read More →
Even though the german tuning company Brabus is well known for modifying super cars they decided to make a new tuning project based on the lovely mini car: Smart Fortwo. They decided to go for an orange color theme and the car looks more serious now. Probably the most important modification was installing a new wide body kit that makes the car look a lot more agressive. The Smart badges were replaced with Brabus badgets and the car has stylish LED illumination. Since the guys from Brabus love to modify every aspect of a car they decided to improve this Smart’s performances a lot. They installed a 1L engine that can develop 110 HP which is incredible for a small sized car. This improvement will boost this car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds and the top speed is limited to 170 km/h. Read More →
The newest modified car by Lorinser is also the smallest car they tuned. The tiny Smart ForTwo has received a lot of performance modifications and a new attractive design. They installed a new lowered front bumper that has a massive opening to bring more air for the car’s engine. The new body kit makes the car look bigger and sportier by adding a sporting mask of the cooler. This Smart is wider with 55m and that’s a bit unusual for a car like this one. It has lovely extended fenders that match the body design perfectly. The car looks bigger now especially because they installed wide fenders in the rear part of the car that are connected with the new rear bumper. The car received a sport exhaust tip and all openings from the rear part are covered with an interesting aluminum color. The guys from Lorinser also improved the car’s performances a lot. The engine was modified to develop 104 HP and the car could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 10 seconds and reach an incredible speed of 180 km/h. Read More →
