With the Porsche 911 history now five decades deep, it’s amazing how the company has kept the styling so similar when comparing a 911 of today. German-based tuner DP Motorsports has celebrated the 40th birthday of the notorious model by transforming a 1990′s Porsche 964 into a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS replica. From new school to old school, both the exterior, interior and engine bay received a wide range of aftermarket parts in the build.
Here is a great example of what a replica builder can accomplish when things are done the correct way. This Ferrari Enzo replica was recently listed on eBay and is located in Germany with a current bid around 40,000 Euro. With only 3 days left before the auction ends, we are sure the price will climb since it can easily fool the innocent bystander. Even the dimensions nearly match up to the original Ferrari Enzo being 4,700mm long, 2,030mm wide, 1,140mm tall and sporting a 2,650mm wheelbase.
Here is a unique Toyota MR2 that has been transformed into a Lamborghini Murcielago replica. In the past we have seen this car try to replicate models such as the Ferrari 460 Modeno Spider and Ferrari F430 Spider, however a larger Lamborghini proved to be much more difficult. This was a project from Bulgaria and is based on a second generation 1992 Toyota MR-2.
Check out this Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe that has been transformed into a Lamborghini Reventon replica. It comes from the Ukrainian city of Odessa and was built by a 30 year old named Alexander with some help from family and friends. It all started back in 2010 with a third generation 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse and took over two years to complete. We have several pictures of the Lamborghini Reventon replica build below, and while it isn’t an exact clone, the final product has been able to win several trophies at car shows for its uniqueness.
The people of New York along with all the tourists that frequently roam the streets were in for a treat the other day. On a trip through Times Square people spotted some rare cars and even a Batmobile replica. This comes shortly after the Colorado shooting for the new Dark Knight film which we are very sorry for the event that occurred that evening. Meanwhile, spectators in New York were able to feast their eyes on a new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 that was wrapped in chrome and is most likely the first of its kind.
