If there’s one car you dream of owning, the McLaren 12C Spider probably makes the top of the list. Factor in the car tuning by Gemballa and a true beauty is born with the subtle modifications they have made all around the sports car. The new aerodynamic kit features a front bumper with lip spoiler, side skirts and new diffuser at the rear for €19,980 or about $25,800 excluding taxes.
At the 2013 Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland this year, Gemballa will reveal their latest version of the McLaren MP4-12C Spider. The tuning project is made up entirely of styling modifications, the factory twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 producing 616 horsepower was left untouched. However, the exterior received everything from a new aero kit to the high performance wheel package.
While they are calling this a concept, it’s actually a teaser of the McLaren P1 that is set to debut on show floors by the end of 2013. McLaren has stated a simple goal for the new P1, “to be the best driver’s car in the world on road and track”. While that may be a little far fetched with all the competition these days, it surely may take the crown for some of the best styling we’ve ever seen. This design comes from the works of Chief Design Engineer Dan Parry-Williams and Design Director Frank Stephenson.
With the Geneva Motor Show cars arriving a few days, Mansory has released this teaser image of their new tuning kit for the McLaren MP4-12C. We’ve seen a good number of McLaren tuning projects this year, and we know Mansory will always have a nice lineup of modifications. They focused on the power with this project by upgrading the 3.8-liter twin turbocharged engine with a new sport air filter, new exhaust system, and engine management system. The popular tuners from Wheelsandmore have released this unique project based on the McLaren MP4-12C and are calling it the Diabolical Toxique Evil. They have hooked it up with both performance and styling parts to compete with the recently annnounced Hennessey McLaren MP4-12C supercar. While the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is a prestigious car to own, it can always use some improvements. Wheelsandmore was able to increase the factory 3.9-liter twin turbo V8 engine from 592 HP to 666 horsepower. Torque was also raised from the stock 442.5 lb-ft to around 472 lb-ft, which is plenty for an exotic car that is so lightweight.
