Ok, now these tuners are crazy! They were literally able to blow up this supercharged Ford Mustang GT500 that is said to put down 800rwhp. From the video it looks like they attempted it twice, but after I checked it was only a second camera angle. The second shot looks far worse with all the smoke spewing from the engine and exhaust, but the initial test was something I didn’t expect. It sounds like the driver forgot what the redline means, because the Mustang was definitely revving at a high rpm, which sent it bursting into flames. Either that, or a poor engineering job from the tuning company who handled this project.

The TunerWorks Canadian based supercar tuning company and distributor of high end packages from Brabus, Hamann, Renntech, and Veilside, have released this custom Ford GT. Not much work was performed on this car, and details are limited, however the main addition we see are the ADV1 wheels. Without a doubt the Ford Focus RS is a car full of potential, however it’s simply not powerful enough from the factory. Thanks to an adapted intercooler, improve fuel pump, downpipe, and suction pipe, the 2.5-liter Focus engine has been improved to deliver 356 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The whole cheating scandal with Jesse James is now in the past, so the custom West Coast Chopper builder decided to drop around $11,000 to tune up his Ford Raptor. I guess the high profile TV star needed something fast to run away from all the paparazzi, and after the jump is a video showing Hennessey test the Ford truck on the dyno. The supercharger on this Ford Raptor sounds sick, and the custom tuning produces a whopping 496 horsepower and 473 lb/ft of torque.
