It started off as a completely black Ford Mustang GT, then the tuners decided to add metallic orange CFC films along with white and black to make it extremely unique. New body parts for the Mustang GT include front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a stylish front grille. Performance tuning came next.
Ken Block and his tuned Ford Fiesta along with DC Shoes have teamed up once again to present the new video for Gymkhana FOUR, which is definitely 4 the win! After the previous three were such a hit, it was going to be tough to make the Gymkhana FOUR different from the rest. However, they succeeded with the help of director Ben Conrad using pyrotechnics, crazy stunts, and insane tricks in the fourth installment. A cameo from the Epic Meal Time guys is also seen about halfway through and at the end. Bringing it all together are memories from Jaws, Back to the Future, Zombieland, and Slumdog Millionaire. Did we forget to mention the gorillas and Segways also in Gymkhana FOUR?
The ECU tuning professionals at Superchips have launched a new software upgrade for the Ford Fiesta Zetec S found in the UK. From the factory, the Ford 1.6-liter Ti-VCT (twin independent cam timing engine) produces 120 horsepoer. After the Superchip ECU installed, figures show a 10 bhp power increase at 5,986 rpm, and 13 extra newton meters of torque at 4,390 rpm. The car tuning company announced that this will work with either the 95 or 98 octane fuel, and if driven conservatively, will maintain the Ford Fiesta Zetec 48 mpg fuel economy.
Check out this video in the cockpit of a Hennessey Ford GT driven by Sean Kennedy at the Texas Mile track. The Ford sports car actually belongs to Mark Heidaker, but the race driver Sean was able to bring the car up to 235 mph (378 km/h) at the Texas Mile track. At the Hennessey tuning companies shop, a custom twin-turbo setup was installed, along with several other parts to bring the output to around 1,000 horsepower. With this kind of a power a straight line race is best, however the Ford GT is still great on the track with the right driver.
The Ford tuning specialists at Roush have released a new Stage 3 kit also called the RS3 package for the 2012 Ford Mustang sports car. Final numbers after the performance tuning, new induction system, and custom exhaust show figures of 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The tuners didn’t stop there however, they also customized the exterior to make it more unique.

Here is the latest tuning work from the guys at GeigerCars, based on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. They are calling it the GT640 Golden Snake since the car now produces 640 PS and 789 Nm of torque from the 5.4-liter V8 engine. It comes equipped with a supercharger, reprogrammed ECU, and stainless steel exhaust system allowing the Mustang sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). However, that’s not all of the tuning it received, the car didn’t get the Golden Snake nickname for no reason.
The tuners from Loder1899 have released a new performance and styling kit for the compact MPV Ford C-MAX. The Ford C-MAX was dropped 35 mm while an assortment of wheels are available ranging from 18 to 20-inches. Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter TDCI engine that has been modified with a reprogrammed ECU to increase the output to 188 hp and 390 Nm of torque. It looks like the best Saleen cars have come to an end, since the parent company Revstone announced plans to ceise manufacturing the performance Ford Mustangs. A sad day for the tuning world, especially in the states since the Mustang is one of the most popular cars to modify these days. Hopefully, something better will come. They want to focus on other aftermarket performance parts, and will stop production of the S302 come the third quarter of 2011. As seen in previous articles here on Fancy Tuning, the S302 Ford Mustang GT features an aftermarket body kit, sport suspension, and limited slip differential for boosted performance.
