BMW has announced they will build 20 of these limited edition BMW M3 Frozen Black Edition coupes for the US market. At a price of $79,650 or around €55,500, this special tuning edition of the M3 features a flat black paint job along with 19-inch GTS wheels to give it a great start in the aftermarket world. These are the most noticeable modifications, however extra unique features include the red brake calipers, red stitching on the black leather, and carbon fiber accents throughout. Performance improvements consist of the BMW M3 lowered 10mm with suspension parts, and a remapping of the EDC/DSC.

Here we have another German tuning project, this time from the company Hartge on the BMW 6-Series convertible sports car. There are many tuning companies out there that like to modify the BMW platform. The largest include names such as Hamann, AC Schnitzer, and Prior Design. But Hartge has put out some nice kits for the BMW line of cars, this time for the F12 6-Series convertible. Now this tuning package may be light, but is still aesthetically pleasing. The exterior received new emblems, dual tail pipes, and new alloys rims measuring 19-20 inches. These come wrapped in high performance tires that fit perfectly in the wheel wells, and then the tuners moved to the interior of the BMW 6-Series convertible.
All I can say is wow, Vorsteiner has just released these pictures of their upcoming BMW 5-Series VMS F10 package and it looks stunning. Details are limited but it looks great with the addition of new wheels, carbon fiber front lip spoiler, side skirts, and modified rear end. The rear has received a new diffuser, rear spoiler, and custom exhaust system. It is said more information will be available later this summer so stay tuned for more BMW tuning.
The German tuning firm Lumma Design has turned to the BMW 6-Series Cabriolet for modifications. The specialists at Lumma are known for unique designs and typical German styling, like seen here with the black rear wing on this 6-Series. Included in the new kit is a front bumper, rear bumper, grill inserts, rear wing, and a new exhaust system to improve the sound. It wouldn’t be a BMW tuning project without a new set of wheels, so Lumma Design added their own rims measuring 21×9.5 up front, 21×10.5 at the rear, and come wrapped in high performance tires sized 255/30R21, and 295/25R21 respectively.
Dominating the limelight at the AC Schnitzer booth were the BMW Z4-based 99d sports car, and the BMW 550i-based ACS5. The Geneva Motor Show was a hit this year, and both of these models offer superb performance without sacraficing the fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. The BMW Z4 99d received a 2.0-liter, 190 horsepower turbo diesel engine, while the BMW 550i ACS5 holds a 4.4-liter V8 producing 540 horses from the turbocharged powerplant.
