Here we have some pictures and a short video of a BMW 135i modified by the Chicago tuning firm WheelSTO. The song in the video is ‘Give Me That Slow Knowing Smile,’ by singer Lisa Ekdahl and it highlights the new features of the car. Driving through famed Blues Brothers and Batman locale Lower Wacker Drive, this WheelSTO Project 1 version 1.2 was introduced over the summer. Starting off with a six cylinder 3.0-liter twin turbo BMW 135i, the tuners increased the horsepower to 414 from the stock 300 hp. WheelSTO also offers performance packages to boost the BMW model to either 376 or 327 horsepower if desired.

The all new redesigned 2010 BMW Z4 surely looks better than the previous models, and the car tuning company Hartge added even more style. They are a well known German tuning firm who created an aero kit for a stunning appearance and performance. A brand new front bumper with larger air intakes and a sporty rear trunk spoiler transform this BMW Z4. But it doesn’t stop there, Hartge offers several other styling and performance parts for your BMW.
The guys from Konigseder have released a new car tuning and styling kit for the BMW E92/E93 models. Included in the package is a new body kit and a few performance upgrades. The exterior of the BMW E92/E93 received an aero body kit consisting of a new front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper spoiler. The redesigned front gives the new BMW a much more aggressive look with the fog lights just above the sharp pointing front bumper. Koenigseder also hooked it up with an aftermarket wheel kit from Competec, and if the customer would like the brakes upgraded, they also offer a Brembo braking system.
The guys from ATT Autotechnik have taken the BMW M3 which is one of their favorite sports cars, and released a new tuning kit to increase the performance. For years the BMW M3 has been a track icon, without a doubt being the most powerful model of the BMW 3-series. ATT Autotechnik decided that it could use an extra boost under the hood, so they aimed to reach a pleasing 500 horsepower. With the addition of a built turbo compressor and ECU tuning, the BMW M3 convertible was able to reach 345 hp on the dyno. ATT dubbed it the “Thunderstorm” while improving the cars exterior styling as well.
The latest project from Vivid Racing has been completed on the BMW 135i which received several modifications to try and hang with their previous Porsche Twin-Turbo project. Not only does the car perform inside, but looking good on the exterior was also a requirement. Vivid Racing hooked it up with a new aero kit from iCarbon, featuring a new front lip, aggressive rear diffuser, mirror covers, and trunk lip spoiler all made of carbon fiber. Becoming even more popular in the tuning scene are car wraps to give the vehicles a unique look, while also protecting the paint. This BMW 135i was wrapped in a Battleship Gray car wrap that can be peeled off at any time. Vehicle wraps are an investment worth checking out because they can last up to 5 years, and are priced at a fraction of what it costs to paint a new high end car.
