Mountune collaborated with Ford Team RS to create an upgrade package for the new Ford Fiesta that will be available only at selected specialist Ford dealers in Britain from March 2009. Their tuning kit was made for the Fiesta 1.6 Ti-VCT Zetec-S and Titanium models. They made a special performance upgrade which will improve the car’s power by 20 per cent by installing a high-flow air induction system, a high performance exhaust with new catalysts and tubular manifold and by re-calibrating the car’s 1.6L Duratec Ti-VCT engine. The special performance kit will cost £1,299 and it will take this car’s power from 120 HP and a torque of 152 Nm to 140 HP and a maximum torque of 170 Nm at 4,250 rpm. After these modifications are made, this Fiesta could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds, 2 seconds less than its stock version.
