G-Power is at it again, this time updating the Typhoon kit for the BMW X5 with the xDrive48i model. This car comes powered by a 4.8-liter V8 powerplant, and has received the SK III supercharger system to boost the figures. After the BMW X5 tuning was completed, the car now produces a stunning 525 horsepower and 600 newton meters of torque. At the track it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds while reaching an overall top speed of 275 km/h.
The new ASA T1-522 supercharger system uses a radial centrifugal clutch that is connected to the engine by a CNC-milled framework for superior strength. Boosting an extra 0.5 bar, the supercharger installed on the G-Power BMW X5 is powered by the crankshaft through the engine belt. Under the hood of the 2011 BMW X5 xDrive48i, you will also find a two-part carbon air intake duct, new intercooler system, racing headers, and a high performance exhaust system along with the new catalysts.
Styling improvements consist of the well recognized TYPHOON body kit, comprised of aggressive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, large wheel arch extensions, and integrated LEDs up front. Topping off the G-Power BMW X5 tuning package is a vented hood made of carbon fiber.
