Out of the 18 finalists chosen from more than 500 applicants, 23-year-old Mandy Lange has been crowned Miss Tuning 2011 at Europe’s largest tuning show. The Tuning World Bodensee is where it all happened for the hot young blonde fitness instructor from Brandenburg. Mandy responded in tears, saying, “I can not even grasp, simply incredible.” Over this next year, she will be the queen of the international tuning scene, and travel around the beaches and city of Croatia to shoot the upcoming Miss Tuning Calendar for 2012. Also, Mandy Lange will take the home the top prize, a brand new Skoda Fabia RS, as well as a two month promotional contract associated with Pizza.de. Congrats!

The Chrysler in-house tuning brand Mopar, has stayed busy with upgrades for the latest Jeep automobiles, the new Dodge Charger and Challenger, and now with the new Chrysler 300 models. For the all new Chrysler 300 sedan, the tuners have launched a wide variety of custom grilles, and alloy wheels along with the Chrysler car company. Eight different grilles are available, all ranging from $310 to $750, made from billet aluminum, and feature a choice of Platinum Chrome, Gloss Black, and Bright Chrome finishes. The best part is that these aftermarket pieces will not void the manufacturers warranty like most mods.

Here’s a pretty cool video from AWFILMS covering the 2011 Import Alliance car show in Atlanta Georgia. Featuring a ton of imports, the video has some sick editing skills and showcases several of the stunning cars that attended. The meet was packed with so many tuned cars you couldn’t pick just one favorite, because six levels of the parking garage were full. If you’re a tuning enthusiast, this is one car show you don’t want to miss.
If you recently saw the blockbuster Fast Five from the Fast and Furious movie series, then here are some pictures of the cars in the movie. The scenes included makes and models from all over the world, starting with the classic 1965 Chevy Corvette to the GT40 track star. Newer car models included the Godzilla Nissan GTR, Dodge Challenger, and SRT powered Dodge Charger. The one car, or truck must I say, that was seen throughout the Fast and Furious 5 movie was the armored truck called the Gurkha LAPV, driven by the former wrestling superstar The Rock. This Bentley seen here is most likely the most customized Continental Supersports on the United States highways. Owned by MLB pitcher Carlos Silva, it first received a unique body kit from the tuners at MC Customs in Miami, Florida. Then the addition of the SV- 31C Xtreme Concave Savini Wheels will make your jaw drop all the way to the carbon fiber lip. There are no pictures inside, however we do know that everything on this Bentley Continental was modified, from the custom wide body kit to the custom paint, Savini wheels, and unique interior.
