Here we have a Fancy Tuning reader’s ride sent to us from Fahad, showing off his modified Lamborghini Gallardo LP560. Styling customizations include a black plaster racing stripe down the middle, and black painted wheels to contrast with the white exterior body paint. Performance upgrades came from Hamann, where Fahad installed a new Hamann exhaust, and let the tuners upgrade his engine software to produce more power. The German based tuning company Wheelsandmore has released a new power package for the Maranello’s exotic Ferrari F430. Customers adding this kit will see their F430 4.3-liter V8 petrol engine output increased to 537 horsepower, instead of the factory 490 hp. It consists of a re-calibrated ECU, lightweight hand-made stainless steel exhaust system, and the tuning to keep all in sync. At the exterior level, Wheelsandmore installed their multi-piece lightweight forged rims called 6 Sporz, and measure to be 20×8.5 in the front, and 20×11.5 at the rear. Completing the custom Ferrari F430 package is a set of race suitable stainless steel coilovers, that offer adjustable compression and rebound.
MTM has unveiled their latest Christmas project based on the all new Audi A1. The car received more power, a new set of wheels, high performance brakes, and a few upgrades under the body for improved aerodynamics. At the exterior level, the tuners hooked it up with a 18-inch Bitmoto wheel set wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 2 tires, then they added wheel spacers to widen the stance before installing. The paint job is a unique three-tone finish with MTM graphics, and although the pricing and availability is unknown at this time, it should be released soon. A brand new limited edition of the Land Rover Freelander 2 was revealed at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy this past week. Scheduled to launch in early 2011, the Freelander 2 SD4 Sport SUV will be limited to the UK with 500 units being manufactured, and starting at £33,945. The managing director, Colin Green at Land Rover UK said, “The Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition offers customers the practicality, performance and efficiency of our best-selling compact SUV with more dramatic, sporty styling and the overall package represents good value for money.” Improving the exterior styling of the car is a discrete body kit and 19-inch alloy wheels, while the interior receives either Ebony Windsor or Ebony Napoli leather, along with a Piano Black finish on parts of the dashboard.
Ok, now these tuners are crazy! They were literally able to blow up this supercharged Ford Mustang GT500 that is said to put down 800rwhp. From the video it looks like they attempted it twice, but after I checked it was only a second camera angle. The second shot looks far worse with all the smoke spewing from the engine and exhaust, but the initial test was something I didn’t expect. It sounds like the driver forgot what the redline means, because the Mustang was definitely revving at a high rpm, which sent it bursting into flames. Either that, or a poor engineering job from the tuning company who handled this project.
