The guys from Oettinger have tweaked the Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 BiTDI for those looking to boost the power output. They skipped the exterior and interior modifications to simply tune the engine management system and reap the benefits. The German pickup truck now delivers 190 hp, a nice 27 horsepower gain over the factory model, and the twin turbo pushes 430 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. This slight tuning also improved the track time, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 187 km/h. Pricing for this VW Amarok tuning is €1,090 from Oettinger.

The 2010 SEMA Show was a big hit in Las Vegas, and featured some of the best rides with the hottest show car girls at any event to date. It looks like every company found some top models to bring attention to their brand, and the effort did not go unnoticed. Thousands of people roamed the show floor, most looking at the cars, but some were able to take pictures of the lovely, outgoing, sexy, and sweet car girls. Props to CarReview and their partners for these stunning show car girls occupying the booths at the 2010 SEMA Show in Nevada.
The German tuning company Prior Design has revealed a new wide body kit for the BMW E92 3-Series Coupe, which makes it look similar to a M3. Starting at a base price of €2,999, the modifications definitely look reasonable. This widebody kit fits all the E92 Coupes, and has been developed from Duraflex, “a very flexible and extremely stable material”, says the company. Aftermarket parts include a new front bumper with larger intakes, custom bonnet, and a similar M3 GT2 racecar hood with integrated air vents. New side skirts with a lower profile continue the aggressive look of this BMW, while wider wheel arches and new rear bumper with diffuser round out the package.
Check out this Chrysler 300C model that has been transformed into a Rolls-Royce. We have been seeing more of these custom cars lately, where the tuners completely redesign the front and back of the 300 or 300C cars to look similar to a Bentley Continental or Rolls-Royce Phantom. This unique tuning project was seen in the city of Tangier in Morocco, and features a two-tone burgundy gold paint job with a nice set of aftermarket rims. Follow the jump to see the rear end of this royal ride and let us know what you think.
Here is the latest car tuning project from Hennessey Performance based on the all new Chevy Camaro SS called the HPE600. The orange car you see here is actually the model for the HPE550 package, but we think it looks better than the maroon HPE600 pictured below. It will be available for the 2010-2011 LS3 or L99 engines and boosted with a TVS2300 Supercharger System. Hence the HPE600 name, the modified Camaro now puts down 602 hp and 807 Nm of torque. The tuners who are located in Texas, claim that the 0-60 mph time is in the mid three-second range, and it can run the quarter mile in 11 seconds. A full list of performance customizations include the new supercharger system, HPE cold air induction system, 1 7/8 inch long tube stainless steel headers, fuel injector upgrade, high flowing catalytic converters, HPE engine management calibration, and a dyno tune to get everything in sync.
