After the impressive build of the Lamborghini Murcielago, the tuners from DMC have moved to upgrading a top performing powerboat from MTI. They have recently hooked up with Gargiulo, a powerboat racing team in Florida, who are their main sponsor for this project. DMC have used their aerodynamic experience from previous work on exotic cars, and applied this knowledge on the MTI Mercedes Benz powerboat. A majority of the customizations include replacing the factory pieces with new carbon fiber to reduce weight, while improving the aerodynamics. In the end, the MTI powerboat was able to reach an amazing top speed of 193 mph. Hit the jump to see the video.

The well known world-wide tuning firm Mansory, has released these pictures of the Maserati GranTurismo package. Also for the GranTurismo S, this upgrade program features both performance and styling improvements, and is the first Maserati kit from the Mansory tuners. At the exterior level, a complete body kit was installed, made from carbon fiber and includes a new front fascia, lip spoiler, side skirts, trunk lid spoiler, rear bumper, and integrated rear diffuser. A new exhaust system was fitted with the diffuser, and then Mansory installed a new hood with front air scoops. Mansory performance tuning came next with the Maserati Gran Turismo.
Here is some interesting tuning performed on a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X, where the owner turned this four door sedan into a two door coupe. The car is currently on eBay because the owner “doesn’t want to finish it” anymore. I wonder why? Maybe because it looks hideous? One of the best things about these cars is the fact that they have four doors, over 300 horsepower, and all wheel drive. Besides the unique EVO tuning performed here, this Mitsubishi Lancer features a wide body kit, deep dish alloy rims, coilover suspension kit, and an upgraded turbo package. Possibly, this tuners nightmare could be fixed with a wing, because whoever drew the sketches made it look a lot better.
Most of the time a car catching on fire is due to overheating or poor engineering with the electrical parts, but the Russian media are believing something different with this Bentley Continental GT. Nobody knows exactly what happened to this luxury car, but people are suggesting that an angry group of pedestrians set it on fire because the owner took up three parking spots. If this is true, then I don’t feel bad for the owner because owning a Bentley doesn’t buy you the right for more parking space. So, let’s make this a rule now, don’t park your car in more than one space!
Here we have from pictures from GTspirit of the cars participating in the Challenge 2010, currently leaving Budapest to travel to Sofia. Most of the drivers stayed at the Four Seasons hotel in the Hungarian capital, while a man nearby with his camera took a bunch of great shots. This Burnout King Mercedes SLS AMG with a similar Burger King and McDonalds logo is pretty funny in my opinion, and several other cars feature hilarious originality. This run from city to city is similar to the Gumball 3000 or Top Run, where drivers enjoy the hospitality while waiting for the next city to roll through. Check out more photos after the jump, and the complete collection of 122 pics can be found here.
