The official Volvo aftermarket specialists at HEICO SPORTIV have released this program for the all new 2011 Volvo S60. They were able to improve the driving experience as well as the visual appeal for all those Volvo fans looking for more. For the exterior of the Volvo S60, HEICO hooked it up with a newly shaped two-part front spoiler and sporty rear skirt with built in diffuser. Both of these aftermarket parts are made from high quality PUR-R-RIM material, which offers the latest technology in lightweight and flexible body parts. The general manage from HEICO SPORTIV, Holger Hedtke said, “We’ve given the Volvo S60 the expressiveness which potential owners of such a dynamic vehicle crave for.”
Potential owners who want more than just some fancy tuning on the exterior will have some options when it comes to the performance figures. HEICO was able to boost the 4-wheel drive Volvo T6 engines output to 326 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque. This is accomplished with a remapping of the ECU, while tuning programs for the T3, T4, and T5 powerplants are still under developement. At the track, the modified Volvo S60 debuted with impressive results, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and reaching the V-max limiter of 250 km/h.
The scheduled market launch for the HEICO Volvo S60 is September 18th, 2010, which also includes the new sport springs, 18 to 20-inch VOLUTION sport wheels, and aluminum interior additions, featuring a new pedal set, footrest, and gear shift knob.
