Despite a lawsuit between Steve Saleen and Saleen Performance Vehicles, the new 2010 Saleen 435S Ford Mustang GT will have a variety of new performance parts. Right now there is a pending lawsuit between Steve Saleen and MJ Acquisitions, who now own Saleen Performance Vehicles, in which Steve Saleen does not want his name used anymore for future vehicles. However, until the lawsuit is settled MJ Acquisitions is allowed to release as many Saleen branded models as they’d like. So this week at a Mustang enthusiasts event in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, they launched the new 435S Mustang based off the Ford Mustang GT. The redesigned Mustang comes fitted with a Saleen Series VI supercharger that outputs 435 hp and 425 ft-lbs of torque from the well sized 4.6-liter V8.

A new performance package for the fuel efficient BMW 116d has been released by German car tuning firm Hartge. From the factory the BMW 116d gets an amazing 64.2 mpg, and the CO2 emissions are only 118 per kilometer. Hartge has taken their own plan and created a program to upgrade the ECU, so the final performance numbers are 143 hp and 315 Nm of torque. They may not be impressive, however it is a significant increase from the stock 115 horsepower. Hartge installed a new suspension kit that lowers the BMW 116d by 25 mm and features dual exhaust pipes. Prices have not yet been released on the package from Hartge, however from the factory, the new BMW 116d three-door starts at 17,605 euros including all taxes and license fees. BMW also offers the five-door model that starts at 18,135 euros, and both of these models are already on the market and ready for tuning.

Senner Tuning brings us the highly modified Nissan 350Z Roadster Thunder today, with a new package that improves looks and performance. The Nissan 350Z is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine which outputs 338 hp over the stock 301 hp. For the performance increases, Senner Tuning optimized the ECU, added a new exhaust system, and a carbon airbox. On the exterior are a variety of interesting additions, including Lambo doors from LSD which I doubt add much value since Lambo doors seem to be a mod of the past. A new front grille, front fender, and rear spoiler with an integrated brake light are included as well. The Nissan 350Z Roadster Thunder by Senner Tuning also rides on 20 inch chrome polished wheels wrapped in Continental tires.
